If this is worth your trouble, I say carry the pencil with you to reapply b/c you will need it. I've only been wearing this for about 5 hours.

Hey Shontay girl! I'm butting in....LOL

I use the Chromagraphic pencil for a highlight on my inner tear duct area and inner lashline. I don't have much use for it on my waterline (nothing stays there anyway)...try it out! It adds a great brightening effect!

Thanks for the tip. I guess it just can't be as awesome as my MUFE aqua eyes.

Thanks for posting. She's really pretty and I like the look that she did. I'll be checking out more of her videos. I'm always looking for new people to check out, race doesn't matter.

yesterday the weather was so awesome so i just had to wear something besides black! lol i wore coral crepe p/p on my lids and my bf commented that it was pretty *thumbs up*

also i have pretty pigmented lips and i wanted fold and tuck l/g to really show up as its true color. so i dabbed myth very lightly and put fold and tuck over and omg it's soo pretty, i couldn't stop staring at my lips lol.

Okay so I got my goodies! I am soooo happy with them.

I went to the pro store and picked up:

Coral Crepe
Instant Chic (yes I caved in, I will explain why lol)
Gazette Grey
Memorabilia
Chromagraphic Pencil NW25/NC30

Other things I picked up:
Copperplate pro pan
Contrast pro pan
Shale pro pan
Brule pro pan
4 empty quad palette (because they ran out of the 15)
ssad.gif

Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation (the new compact one)

Phew! lol Okay so I bought IC and you may be wondering why the hell would I buy it after I being so negative about it. Well, I went to a new counter today and they were uber nice! I couldn't believe how friendly they were and they gave me a lot of great tips. Apparently, IC looks so much better with my mineralize foundation that she applied. When I initially tried it last week, I was wearing my MUFE that does oxidize on me. So my guess is that IC came off looking ashy bc of the oxidation.

I passed on the lippies bc the MA that did my makeup, told me a lil trick and she applied coral crepe on my lips blended it well and Partial Pink cremesheen glass on top and OMG its so gorgeous! I already had PP and I was getting CC anyway so she told me I didn't need to buy any of the lippies when I could use what I have.
Now thats what I call a great MUA!

Everyone at the MAC store was surprised with this collection bc they said it kind of snuck up on us bc everyone thought it would be boring. But its a hit and a lot of it is selling like hot cakes.

I may go pick up Bamboo and Cut To Fit, which btw is so much prettier than Antiqued IMHO bc its not as dark. CTF is a tad brighter.

Here is a look she did for me: Coral Crepe as a base, Cut To Fit on lid, Motif in crease, & Memorabilia in outer V.

Hmm...One of my problems with Antiqued is, although it's gorgeous, it's a bit too dark for my eye. Makes me look like someone beat me up. Perhaps I should play with CTF next time I go to Mac.

And I really hope I don't fall asleep with this darn mascara on. I don't feel like removing it just yet.

See, the reason I didn't get CTF is bc I have the Nordies Graphic Garden palette in Fresh Cut. There is a similiar color to CTF and Antiqued in there. I don't know the name bc I don't know what order the names follow I would love to get a nice pan but honestly, its not that great of a color that you can wear everyday. So I think I am going to pass CTF.

Here is the color in the GG palette: the bottom left

Oh and Hey is soooo much better than Tissueweight. I might pick up Hey or get it online as I need to buy my 15 pro pan palette.

dressmaker^2 is an awesome everyday color for me - the MUA paired it with love nectar (which i already have, thank god), and it looked great for naturally peachy look.

made to order + fold and tuck = OMG. it's almost a natural look on me (my lips are pretty pigmented), but with a warmer, coral touch. love love love.

i got instant chic without swatching it. i realized i don't have any soft coral/peach blushes - i have springsheen, spaced out, and improvise, but nothing more pinky.

the MUA working with me said he LOVED garb (he actually said that if he could, he'd discontinue every other blush in the perm line and only sell garb
lol.gif
). i let him try it out on me, and surprisingly, i really liked it. i thought it would be too dark or dirty looking on me, but it really just gave me a nice glow - so i picked that up too. :/

i was originally going to try coral crepe, but before getting there, decided i didn't want it (because i've never tried paint pots before and don't need a new obsession), but i let him try it on me, and yeah... snapped that sucker up too.

i thought about trying brown bag, but saw it on a similarly pale MUA and decided against it.

so i ended up with:

- garb
- instant chic
- made to order
- fold and tuck
- dressmaker, dressmaker
- coral crepe
- sorcery (from prepped for color - been haunting me for weeks!)

more than i wanted, but as the MUA pointed out, this collection was really MADE for a girl with coloring like me. it's a nice spring update for me.

now i just need to hold off until to the beach... and probably put myself on a no buy after that!

haha, i was supposed to be on a no-buy until To The Beach, but curiosity got the better of me and I went into the store against my better judgement.

It's so easy to get suckered into buying more than you planned, lol

I bought Hey a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty cool.

Monica - that look she did on you is amazing! I've never had anything applied at mac except concealer to get a match and when I took my Brunette MSF in because I didn't know what to do with it (and getting them to put it on me didn't make it any better). LOL! But your look is great!

I just saw swatches in the swatch section. Thank you so much, ladies!
Boy, they're pretty. Should I go back and check them out?

I liked Tissueweight, but I didn't buy it.

The more I see pics of people wearing Coral Crepe, the more I want it.
tong.gif
But I know I really shouldn't spend any more on this collection, not if I want to get anything for the summer.

I think I have found the answer to my 2 year hunt for the dupe for Sunnyside Up from the '04 Holiday Jewel Palette, you know the one with Parrot in it too. Is it possible that Tissueweight is the same as Sunnyside Up, maybe even Hey!
hmm.gif
? I check the swatches and they look very simular. Oh, I hope so. Does anyone know? If you have a comparison pic that would be so great. Thanks, hopefully I can put the hunt to rest.
