To all of you who bought Dressmaker, Dressmaker.......what can i pair it with? I ordered it and i'm a little scared to try it on now! I'm NC20 and scared it will look muddy or orange on me.

I swatched them side by side when I went to the counter. I didn't get a picture, but IMO they were similar enough to not need both, particularly if you don't find yourself reaching for that colour super often. I mean, if greys are your absolute favorite colour in the world, then the subtle difference might make them both worth having. But if you only wear greys every once in a while, then I would say that you are safe skipping GG. I did!

that is quite a good idea actually!

Yeah, actually I did that today but I didn't have any other makeup on. I did mine smoothed underneath my lash line, & inner & outer eye corners. I usually use more of a highlighter shade underneath my lower lash line to bring brightness to the eyes.

The pencil did work great as a quick spot, redness concealer. For that reason alone, I'll be keeping it.

Also, I'm not sure that this pencil has staying power for the waterline as usually you need something more waterproof.

Yup. That's exactly what I said a few pages back. It doesn't last long at all.

That's a great idea. I think I'm gonna try that soon.

I just bought Made to Order today after much debate since i was afraid it would be too much like Fresh Salmon which i already have. I swatched 'em both on myself and noticed the Fresh Salmon is more of a golden sheen peachy coral compared to MTO which is a pinky sheen deeper coral which i think i'm going to love! I like Fresh Salmon yet i find i have to use a darker l/l to tone down that frosty halo i get since my lips are a bit pigmented. I'm hoping MTO won't require that!

I thought I already had Memorabilia but can't seem to locate it. And while going through my palettes Purple Haze caught my eye and it seemed similar.

the colour is nowhere near to being similar. Quote:

i'm gonna have to wholeheartedly disagree with the MUA on that one. i'm in love with cha cha and i dispise F&T!

Here are some great items I've wanted when they were released but held off, end up seeing and bought from a CCO a few months down the road: Lollipop Loving l/s, Silverthorn e/s, Glamour Check e/s, Perfect Topping msf, Refined msf, Just A Pinch blush, Eversun blush, Goldyrocks d/g, Black Russian e/l, Sorceress palette. I can't tell you how rewarding these purchases felt!

I wish my CCO was that stocked!! I'm in desperate need for pigments...

I don't despise Fold and Tuck, but I don't see the resemblance between the two. I thought maybe it was just me, so I'm glad someone else feels the same way. They look nothing alike to me. I thought maybe I just wasn't seeing the similarities. I guess it is all a matter of perception and personal opinion.

Karin, both looks are beautiful! You are making me want Gazette Grey, but I'm not sure if it will show up as pigmented on me.

Is Gazette Grey worth purchasing? I don't have a grey eyeshadow base to go with it.

I think Gazette Grey is super pigmented and it showed up just fine over Painterly and Soft Ochre. Gazette Grey actually is more of a brown-grey, so I think any neutral base will work.

Ya, I had no problems with it either when I swatched it. I thought it showed up really well. I haven't tried it on yet though!

I just saw a Youtube video with someone wearing Dressmaker lipstick and even though my lips are more pigmented, I want this one now. I will probably pair it with Fold and Tuck. I really do love this collection.

This really is your collection

I have also pigmented lips and I find Dressmaker to be very pigmented, feels more like an AC to me than a Lustre.
Although I am not sure about the colour on me.
