Should've gotten Made To Order instead, but oh well.

Archetype did not work for me either. Bummer. I have no idea what to do with it now because I bought it online. Oh well, I guess it will sit in my stash O'MAC. lol.

I do that too! Especially with my blushes/MSFs. I'm such a blush whore.

Instant Chic is really starting to grow on me. First I thought it was okay, then nice and today when I wore it it was great! The same thing happened with Perfect Cheek, first just okay, then nice, then great and now HG. Maybe IC will do the same for me?

Oh no

. On me, I found out that I didn't like it when I wear certain blush (Gilda). It made my face looked too bright. That's just me though, I know you are way more experienced than I am

I got my Cut to Fit and Instant Chic today (thanks, Coachkitten!). They are lovely! Cut to fit is perfect to wear on the lid with a darker brown in crease. And Instant Chic is a wonderful, subtle peach/pink on me, not chalky at all.

So now, on top of not liking archetype on me.... I also don't like instant chic! *gasp*

Sucks! I think it's a gorgeous color, but when I swiped it on my cheek, it was a fail! Looked kind of...chalky. *sigh*

So now I guess it will go into the stash o'MAC where all MAC that doesn't get love goes to be admired. lol.

Oh and I'm a nc35-37 just for reference.

I got Coral Crepe, Dressmaker and Made to Order today! Yey!

I love how Coral Crepe as a base gave a sort of dirty coralish vibe to my look with Solar White, Paradisco, Romping and Hot Hot Hot. All my worries about Coral Crepe clashing with my pale warm skintone are gone and it looked so good on my lids even without any eyeshadows.

The lippies are nice and subtle, nothing that truly rocks my world but I'm sure I'll be using them a lot.

i think alot of people forget paint pots are nice on their own. some are better than others as a stand alone shadow but this one is very pretty!

Thanks doll. It does suck but, it's not the first time I have bought something, tried it, and it look like crap on me. Ugh. I did try it on my friend today though and it looked great on her (she's a nc15-20)! So it IS a beautiful color. Just not for me. And I am ok with that. =)

I did find Instant Chic similar to ripe peach, but only when I swirled the colors together in ripe peach. When putting them both on tho they aren't so similar. And I actually like ripe peach on me so I guess it's ok I didn't like Instant chic. Yay! lol.

I never wear anything over Coral Crepe, but I plan on trying it one of these days. I feel if a base is not invisible, then you should be able to rock it alone. CC is gorgeous and deserves to be seen without all the fuss. However, I would like to try a few of my peachy, coral shadows on top. Putting all other kinds of colors with it, though, turns me off.

I still haven't used Memorabilia. I must use it tomorrow. I was working overnights and didn't bother with makeup for a few days, but tomorrow I will be back in the swing of things!

My fave look with Coral Crepe is still CC on the lid, with just a touch of Tissueweight on the middle and to highlight.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been secretly wanting Dressmaker, Dressmaker (despite everyone saying that Made to Order works better for WOC...but I found it too orange) so now I must check out this dupe!
