Hello all! This is my first Specktra post after undergoing major surgery (if anyone even noticed I went MIA for quite some time). Feels good to be back.

I wonder if this collection is already in Singapore, if not then I expect it to come soon! I'm still recovering at home, and not being able to physically go down to the counter sucks really bad because I'm not so sure about the lippies. Nonetheless I'm really excited about this collection! I am so in love with the promo pic.

My list so far:

- Gazette Grey
- Memorabilia
- Coral Crepe (unsure)
- Archetype
- Dressmaker, dressmaker (unsure - too sheer?)
- Made To Order (unsure - is it unique enough?)
- Kraft (unsure - will it be too brownish?)
- Fold and Tuck (unsure)
- Instant Chic (unsure - too sheer?)
- Brown Bag (unsure)

Glad that I already have Light Over Dark mineralize blush, so I can save some money there. It's one of my favorite MBs.

Winnie, welcome back!

How are you feeling girl? I hope everything went well for you and keeps getting better day by day! I'm crazy about this collection so my opinions are mostly on the positive side but I'll try to help with some of the unsure items on your list.

I'm a paint pot girl, and I love CC. The color is versatile for me while still being unique...perfect not too orange not too pink coral, love it.

Dressmaker isn't sheer on me at all! It's actually more like an AC finish imo...gorgeous color. I've been wearing it almost daily since getting my PaP goodies.

MTO and F&T make a perfect Spring lip combo. I'm not sure about the uniqueness here, but for my collection these were great additions and not dupes.

Instant Chic is ridiculously pretty and I don't find it to be too sheer, but it isn't seriously intense either. It's like the other sheertones, so I can see how some might need to color-build (I don't). It does swatch a bit differently than it looks on the cheeks though. I really think IC shines when you actually put it on. So, so pretty.

I hope you keep thinking about MAC and feeling better, let us know how you're doing!

Welcome back Winnie. Hope all went well with your surgery and that you'll be feeling good as new very soon.

Good luck with your interview Karin. I hope you get the job!

I skipped Coral Crepe but haven't seen it in person. Maybe I need to check it out this week.

Just want to share how Made To Order l/s and Instant Chic blush looked on me. I also had the Coral Crepe p/p on, but that looked a little fading in this picture.

i'm back from my trip to mac!
i bought instant chic, memorabilia and gazette grey.

i didn't even want to take a look at gazette grey because i was sure i wouldn't like it. it's not a wow color, but it sure is unique, that's why i bought it. i'm going to try a smokey eye with it and see if this works for me.

instant chic is gorgeous, i can't wait to try it out on my cheeks tomorrow! it is quite sheer but i don't mind since i'm pale and it looks very natural.

memorabilia is a nice matte purple and i'm a sucker for purples so i knew this would come home with me.

the lipsticks and glosses where all way to orange on me so i snatched up some to the beach lip items instead!

Ooh those are so pretty. What country are you from? I'm hoping these collections are already out in the UK

Winnie, hope you're experiencing a smooth recovery.

I used Coral Crepe pp again today over my entire lid, but this time I used retrospeck e/s on inner half of the lid, tissue weight on outer half and gazette grey just on the outer corner for definition. Not sure why, but i've been on a serious coral kick lately, and this paint pot is so gorgeous as a base.

Instant Chic is a lovely soft coral and not too sheer on me at all. Very pretty.

Hope you'll enjoy the collection.

I forgot to say this in my earlier post! I was looking to B2M at the counter and I was looking at Shy Girl (from the perm line, it's a Cremesheen), but I asked one of the MUA if I should get Shy Girl if I got Dressmaker x2 from this collection. Under the very yellow-y store lights, they looked almost identical. She said that once I run out of Dressmaker x2, I can get a "backup" by getting Shy Girl, because it's essentially the same color but in a different formula. Can anyone confirm this, or even swatch it under better, natural light?
