I understand trying to avoid the drama with the extra work but it's so stupid to me that anyone should have to go through the trouble of replacing the pans! Lol I'm sorry but if mac knows professional artists depot things and even sell limited edition eyeshadows etc in pots while at the same time selling the palettes to place pans in, why on earth is an undamaged/not cut depotted case an issue? It's simple. They're looking for any reason to refuse a b2m and get more of your money. I could see if you walk in with mangled melted plastic still smoking....geesh :/ My solution to not ever have an issue with b2m's again was to simply not buy any more potted items from them. I hope one day it matters and they stop with the stupid nitpicking.

I've honestly never heard of it being a problem until I joined on here. But like I said maybe I've just been lucky.it must depend on who the person is at mac becuz my mac girl has no problem B2M'n empty pots without the metal pan! i meeeean dmn whats the big deal anyways. they get enuff of our money anywayz between shyt goin up an extra dollar basically every year n 3 collections a monthso why do some mac girls be press as if its coming out THEIR pockets!! sheesh
Hmm...the only brand I can think of and they're not new, just newish to me may be zoeva. I've been LOOOVVVVIIINGG their brushes. They have a case that I love too, but I haven't purchased it because I've condensed so much into my zuca backpack. The white ones are good Tom Ford brush dupes IMO.

u can also use the square ones for cream foundations. yes folks melt lippies for more space in their kit or organization. I know I cant cuz the OCD wouldn't let me do that lol
It has a see-through divider, but not a clear lid. The clear-lidded one is single-sided.
