MAC PRODUCT SPECIALIST HELP

Hi everyone! Ive recently taken on the role of Product Specialist at my Location. I am having a hard time getting everyone on board to get our sell through percentages up. I am also quickly running out of ideas to roll out ways to help our counter out. Please if current or alumni PS can give me some pointers or ideas that worked for them that would be great! thanks!

PS. iM DOING MY BEST TO STAY ORGANIZED, but i feel my problem is getting other artist to follow through on completing facecharts or wear assigned looks or even using products we are sitting on. just wanted to give a little more clarification.

speak with management if they dont follow though with what is being told to them. when i was ps if they didnt do it i went to management and it was a discussion. i would be go up to them during demos and be like what are you guys doing over here it looks gorgeous and then say oh did you try the new such and such on them oh let me grab you one that would look amazing on them. etc.. face charts are 1 a week 2 per color collection we had face chart check list and due dates. i was very strict as a ps but we had the highest sell thought in my region. hope that helps just hold them accountable

Getting your team on board can be challenging for sure. I have found a ton of success in doing my touch bases very..casually...like I do ask permission to do it, but I try to make it feel more like a conversation versus me telling them what to do. I know which girls are comfortable doing what style of makeup, so I try to make my looking assignments fun and exciting for them. What do you guys have planned for Simpsons/artificially wild? We have an employee meeting this weekend and I'm currently working on flash cards to test product knowledge! And then partner up and create looks from each collection.

Hiya, How did you do your flash cards? This sounds great for meetings :)

Hiii!! So I would include questions about limited life as well as basic business. Just to keep them on their toes. Ex. "What is the wear time of our new fluid line pencils?" "12 hours" And then maybe "how does the pro long wear formula set itself apart from our other pencils?" "It forms a waterproof seal 20 seconds or so after first applying" and then maybe "what product are you most excited to share with your guests?" So it's not allllll trivia and some opinion questions. And then whoever wins gets to pick through gratis! It's been very successful.
