Would it be wrong of me to get samples of this while the MA's are all frantic over all the guests at the VV unveiling?

You all are making it sound so good that it is making the wait so unbearable

It seems like this foundation also photographs well which is also important to me. I hate looking white in pics coz of high SPF!

Oh, my 29th b-day is also fast approaching, damn it! when is urs?

LOL thanks dear, I just realized that now. I was thinking of using the concealer as foundation thats why. nc20 prolong foundation is a perfect match for me. it doesn't look homer simpson yellow on me like studio fix fluid. the nc20 concealer is noticebly lighter, so it would probably match me better after a few months. i don't need to use much with the concealer. these don't oxidize on me, which is a super plus!

now i am just hoping i won't break out.

this is actually in the foundation (and concealer) information. once they set, they don't change colour!

And don't get me started on the 'light-reflecting' bs. I know, I know, it hides defects and all, but my undereye circles shouldn't be shinnier than my lipgloss.

sorry for the rant xp

Amen to that sistar

That is exactly my problem with concealers, that is why I have a basket full of them but never bought the same one twice

I read on Lollipop's Twitter this morning that this foundation oxidized on her. That's a pitty coz I really trust her review. I guess I'll take a sample first and see how it reacts with my skin.

Yay, you're an Aquarius! We rock!

Anyway, I'm gonna wear this foundation tomorrow. I get up for work at 4:30 am and I'm leaving work at 2 and going straight to the mall and wait for my Mac stores VV event. That's seriously putting it to the test. I better not end up looking crazy because I'm taking pics. Don't make me have to wipe that crap off, go to sephora and put on some mufe!

I've had nasty oxidation problems with MAC foundtions in the past but not with this one. But the best way is to sample/try it first.

Aquarians are the best

.

I still have high hopes for this foundation. I'm glad it worked for you and I hope it works for me too. I hate being colour matched at MAC though. All foundations are either too peach or too yellow. The best one is studio fix in NW25 but that oxidizes on me after a few hours

. That's what I eventually switched over to MUFE coz they have a very neutral tone shades that match me great....but curious about this new MAC foundation.

About the packaging, it is slightly hard to control the product. Not too bad though. I used it just under my eyes. I had left over product so I decided to use it above my lip because I have a bunch of acne scars there. It did a GOOOD job of covering both. Especially the acne scars!! Not even my Ben Nye did a good job. Then again, I'm not too fond of BN concealer but that's another post!!!!

The concealer is about medium coverage - I do think it can be built up to full coverage. Definitely long lasting. I wore it for 10 hours and it didn't change much from when I first put it on. Very easily blended. I didn't use a primer on my face either. Just my moisturizer!

Here's some before/after pictures. This is from today when I applied it, I'll see if I can put a after x hours picture. However, this is all for now!

Only things I'm wearing are NYX brow powder in auburn/red, PLW concealer, BN neutral set, UD baked bronzer in baked.

I've got an appointment scheduled for Friday after work to try out the Prolongwear products and I'm really excited. I don't normally wear foundation but if this is as good as reviews indicate, I might pick it up just to have one on hand. But the lipcremes are really what I'm most excited about! If the formula works well for me I'll probably end up with at least three or four of these.

Now I just have to decide what kind of look I want the MUA to do. I'm thinking something with Perpetual Flame! I'll make sure to take before/after pictures either way.

You're such a cutie! Love that it looks so natural on! I bought the concealer and ended up getting a sample of the foundation. So far, no oxidation.
