So, I got my foundation on ready to go to work and just an observation: this stuff is red. Like, even putting it on the back of my hand it's really red in tone. My mufe hd is more yellow or neutral. This isn't to say I look crazy right now. The foundation still matches, but it slightly changes my look. The test will be when I get to work in a few b/c those lights are not forgiving. Hopefully, I won't have to come home and change or tweak this.

For those of you who don't read the FOTD section. I posted pics of me wearing the Pro Longwear foundation as well as the Pro Long l/s. I am loving both. The foundation lasts all day & when I blot with a tissue for example I just pick up oil & no foundation transfers. I wore the l/s from 8:30am until about 5:30pm and it lasted through lunch & several drinks. I would love this even if it were just a basic l/s because the color is so freaking gorgeous!

The only thing is that I wish the foundation were a bit heavier, but I am a SFF addict so I am just used to a fuller coverage. I will get used to the lighter coverage & I can always put my Studio Fix powder on top if I feel the need. Either way I am very pleased with these new products!

I am not sure about the color. I am normally an NC40 & that is what I am wearing in the pic. But, they run a little light so I might need to switch to the NC42 in this formula. Which makes me sad since I ordered NC40 in my gratis

So, I'm checking myself in the mirror at work and everything is ok. Still have to get used to the look of this foundation all over, but it's ok. I'm really happy with the studio finish concedaler, too.

try it first. i have mega pores, but as long as i use a silicon based primer, my pores are fine with this foundation and concealer. it doesn't sink in through out the day. studio sculpt is another story though >=(

it really matters what brushes you use. i didn't like how it looked with 187. it wasn't covering my pores very well. the everyday minerals flat top is the way to go! i LOVE that brush.

I was at my local MAC counter today and played with a few of the lipsticks. The texture is really nice, creamy, and once it sets it is not overly dry. I'm not letting myself buy any new lipsticks right now until I use up some of my stash, but I was pleasantly surprised by these. I like these much better then the original pro long wear colour + top coat version.

^ ditto. the old version was still technologically challenged ..lol. these are far less drying.. so the whole process is improving

I remember when Max Factor first came out with Lipfinity - the first of its kind, if I recall. I remember going to the booth at IMATS and Michelle Burke (academy award winning MA) applied it on me. Long wear lip colour has come a long, long way (pun intended).

I tried out the concealer, but I really didn't like the pump. Too much kept coming out which was resulting in a lot of wasted product. And I wasn't totally sold on the color (NW15, which is my usual), so I exchanged it. I got Select Cover-Up instead, and that NW15 is lighter and better suited to my skin... and it comes in a squeezy tube. Love the squeezy tube.

I haven't tried any of the lipsticks yet. I so want to... but they're permanent and so much stuff is coming out. I can wait.

May I ask what lashes do you have on?

I have two pairs of lashes stacked together. Andrea Modlash #33 & Ardell Lacies.

i bought the foundation and concealer this afternoon, and so far so good. (NC35 in both)

It does feel a little tacky to me and drier than I'm used to (I used to use Studio Tech, and Shisedo's liquid foundation), but it matches me well once it dries down. (The first few seconds I put it on I thought it was too dark, but it evens out.)

Not rubbing off on my hands either, so that is a plus for me. I do feel like my glasses stick to my nose with this foundation on, though. Weird feeling.

I went and got color matched first and ended up getting both foundation and concealer both NW20. I'm liking it so far better than Studio Sculpt (which to be honest I haven't worn that often).

But I am curious why the MUA sprayed Fix+ after, which she said would oxidize the foundation. I thought that was a bad thing.

question for anyone who can help reallY!! we dont have a selection of foundations int he darker range here in Singapore... I find that NC 45 in the studio fix compact thingy is too dark, so the MA mixed NC 42 and NC 45 and it looked okay. So what does that make me, an NC 44? (she used a bit of NC 42 to tone done the oranginess in NC 45) I have no way of finding out cos the only ones available in stores are NC 42 and NC 45

So, when I was in the sun in the other day wearing the concealer with transparent powder, I realized that NW25 had an orange tinge on me! Sadness.. so I went into the Mac store (not counter hallelujah!) and the MUA matched me to a NC30!

Oh and he said I'm about NC25-30ish in SFF. I swear to god everyone tells me something different every time. But anyway, NC30 matched me perfectly. No orange tinge. I've worn it for over 10 hours and it looks the same as when he applied it on my. No joke. This definitely lasts long. Especially on my oily skin.

AND IT'S NOT EVEN SET WITH POWDER!

But yeah, I'm gonna go to Macy's tomorrow during my break and switch the concealer out to NC30.

I just realized something. I'm a MAC whore in training
