well, its not terrribly unique or a must have, but I love the simple nudish pink that it makes my lips alone - but I love how everything looks layered over it.
I have Marquise'd and that is a good enough pinky nude for me! It looks good alone and layered and it doesn't make me look like a horrible looking zombie which I think Playing Koi will do to my NC35 skin!

Not the greatest of pictures, but I took this yesterday after slapping on some makeup and going out to do errands. Pink Nouveau l/s goes well with the Quite Cute collection. Here I am wearing the Quad and Giggly blush w/Pink Nouveau.

oh wow! once again Debi you are looking lovely!

Just want to say the little floating things on the MAC site are p***ing me off. I try to click on something else and if one of those annoying things is anywhere near it takes me to the QC page not the page I want.

I tried it with a pink liner this morning and it was perfect. I think the right shade of liner could do the trick. However even though I can get it even on my top lip (not dry) I can't get it to layer and look like it does on Temptalia, but maybe my lips are just more pigmented.

I ordered CYY and the In Synch and Naked liners at 11:45 PM on the 6th, and still haven't gotten any shipping email. I know that the site crashed and all, but it does make me feel a tad nervous. Good to know others are in the same boat as me though. XD

Just an opinion, but I think it would look lovely on you. It's a colour that works well on pale skin, my only issue was with the unevenness. If you can get it to go on smoothly, the colour is very pretty against a pale complexion!

ya that's what im worried about, the way it will set on my lips... for some reason i always have dry bits on my lower lip so i think its gonna look funny. just like myth and fleshpot and st germain do....
If not i'll return it via mail... I hate not having a counter close to me to test!

I feel i went a lil crazy buying it all scared they would sell out (which they did) lol.

All of the amazing pictures and descriptions and reviews are making me actually want to try.....duh duh duhhhh....CYY!!! I never really look at brights 'cause I'm so certain they will make me look weird :( But this one is just so beautiful, as are many brights but just too scared, and it looks soooo wearable on everyone so far!!! I would have to try it on to be sure and I won't be doing that with the testers! Soo...it's also not in my budget so it's not gonna happen, especially when it's out of my comfort zone, lol. But if given the chance, I'd love to try it on! I would love to see what it's like over In Sync as well! Ahh...*dreams* :)

Thanks for stating this. I was getting worried. Wishful thinking, but I'm hoping they throw in some pins with everyones order that was delayed.

You do know that mac.com had crash issues right? It was posted here a few times - maybe you missed it.

Most of the orders will not even go out until Monday. They are being sent 2nd day for regular shipping. But, if you selected 2 day shipping - then your order will be overnighted.

I'm not having any patchiness issues with Quite Cute, but I apply it by dabbing it on, rather than running the tube back and forth across the lips in a thick layer. I dab it on bit by bit, let it sit for a moment and then do another thin layer if it needs it. I've also gotten good results applying it over a blotted gloss. Haven't used it with a lip pencil base yet, but i think that could be a bit trickier to work with (although outlined lips might be great - I think Dervish might be a good one to use for pigmented lips).

It's so much easier to work with and more flattering that Blooming Lovely, which has a thick white base to the color that is just difficult.

BTW, Easy Lounger gloss over or under Quite Cute is to die for.

Had lots of compliments today on Candy Yum Yum.

I threw it on top of a totally bare face, wearing an orange sun dress with black, white and grey retro print and my crazy neon fabric, vinyl and holograph patchwork high tops!

It's an instant look maker.

At my local MAC store, CYY and Playing Koi sold out in 2 days, while on the 3rd day (Sat. in-store event going on at the time), Quite Cute and Playtime were still available, but almost out, and they'd had a ton of stock for all lipsticks. I bought 2 CYY the moment the store opened on Thursday, and wound up backing up both Playtime and Quite Cute, which is working out remarkably well for me - certainly beyond my pigmented lip expectations. I honestly don't back up products normally, but I just love the texture, opacity and colors of everything. Makes me feel 100% springtime-y and upbeat!!!

I have CYY and Giggly blush on my list, but I have to wait to be available here... and go the first day because they always have a few and sell out!

I am SO in love with CYY!!!!!!!!!!! I got compliment after compliment when I wore it yesterday. I kept the eye simple ( saddle to lid and crease and groundwork pp as highlight and thin black eyeliner) Today I am wearing the same look. I cannot get enough of this ls!

I'm going to hunt for this lipstick (CYY) down today by calling the MACY's counter and the stores. I'm going to try my luck so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. Wish me luck
