she totally does... she went exactly at 10:00 am (when doors open in the store) and got 2 CYY and 2 playtime. Its funny cos she took the only 2 CYY that were not reserved... again funny cos when i called to reserve they said that there werent any cos the MUAs there got them. so... I guess I'm sorry Madrid i took em all!!!!! haha evil laugh!!!!!

Thanks! Honestly when first heard about this collection I was not to excited about it, I do not usually wear a lot pastels but it was really fun to try the new colors

hey! I found a pretty close dupe to Candy Yum Yum with Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Fuchsia Fever, I just blogged about it.. but I'll post a few pics here in order to save you ladies from having to click on links!
Here's comparison swatches, CYY is obviously the matte, and the maybelline one is a bit sheerer in addition to it being shiny.. BUT the color is pretty spot on.
Here I'm wearing CYY on my Top Lip and The Maybelline on my bottom lip in natural sunlight. apart from the shine, I think its a good match!
The only thing is that the maybelline is a bit sheer and I need about 2-3 layers for it to give me the opaqueness of CYY. But other than that I'm pretty satisfied with this, and not as worried about using up my precious Candy Yum Yum!
I should mention that, though the maybelline is sheerer, it still stains! just as much as CYY.

i dont see the dupeness factor... different finishes, color pay offs and color. the maybelline is a beautiful more wearable shade thats fo sho, but it doesnt have the neon-ness or the whiter hint that CYY has. They r similar and a good option to avoid running out of CYY. When i get my Barry M lippies Ill post swatches to show if they are dupes. As of now...CYY seems unbeatable!

i agree! its more wearable for those who cant pull off CYY.. like me!! bt im so jealous of all u girls who posted pics of yourselves with CYY cause u guys totally rocked it!
lol! yeah that's about right! i am going to wear candy yum yum today for the first time outside of the house! i won't be wearing much on my eyes because i am getting my brows waxed so i think it's a good oppotunity to use CYY!

Wow ladies you all look so pretty in your pics! Some have said they disliked this coll but I am so in love with it. Only thing that doesnt work for me is Playing Koi. I'm even starting to love the quad.
I'm even considering getting Summer Shower from Fashion Flower just to put over these lippies!
I wore CYY at work on Fri and it was a big hit! It actually made me feel happier wearing it. My co-worker wore it too and she loved it. If anybody has Athenas Kiss l/g from WW it looks so awesome over it as well!

hehehe, I tought I was the only person who put different lipsticks on my top and bottom lips to see the differences. I did that with Gulabi and Girl about Town. I was playing around with CYY and other pink lipsticks last night, and the white base is really what makes it different, and the finish.
I tried it on me to see if it is worth me waiting for it, and it was nice on. I was talk to the MUA and she is convinced that they use Magenta Madness as part of the color, and showed me how to wear that on top of other colors or even on top of process magenta lip pencil gives you the same neoness as this, even a bit more. It isn't the same color, obviousl. I have some pics I'll post later. She also said that she doesn't even think this the best pink MAC has done. She liked the one from the Barbie collection the best.
I also thought I found a dupe in a Stila color, the texture was spot on, but when I got the color home, I thought it was too red. But the finish was very pretty. On my handd it looked similiar, minus the white base, but the Stila was a lil bit darker. I'll post the pics a il later. I didn't find a dupe, but it was a lot of fun playing aroud with the pink lipsitkcs. MUFE has some nice ones. I also an aqua cream that was similiar, but had sparkles.
