MAC Quite Cute Discussion

omg i love it!

My favorite combo at the moment is the Quite Cute lipstick, I

U plushglass and Currant lipliner. I think the Currant tones down the white in the lavendar and compliments the purple hue.

I finally went and swatched everything a few days ago and I don't think I've ever been this disappointed by a MAC collection. So many of the textures and finishes seemed off.

The counter I went to still had everything besides one of the nail polishes though, BTW. However, this was before the weekend.

I use Neutrogena makeup removing cleansing towelettes. I also have Neutrogena's eye makeup remover pads, which are AWESOME. I don't know if you have Neutrogena in your country though. =/

I had the same exact thoughts today and I resisted going to the counter but I am slowly talking myself back into finding a back-up b/c it is so sheer and I can't think of ever being without it. This kicks Up the Amp arse on me even the hubby likes it and that's saying something. I love Playtime more than CYY and I thought it would the other way around.

So, my dear...I just called the store that I ordered my 2nd one from for you because they had 1 Playtime left after I got mine - but shoot its sold out now

But, I will call some others for you first thing in the morning since most are closed here now. I will pm you if I find one. XO

Wore Candy Yum Yum today!! I love it! And I totally agree about the staying power. It lasted ALL day through eating and drinking at the bridal shower I went to.

I'm beginning to feel like I should have grabbed Candy YumYum while I had the chance... Then again... I also feel like I have a number of hot pinks, plus there are more coming with other summer collections... Personally, I think Quite Cute, despite the trouble that some people have had getting it to go on evenly (me included), is a more original colour.

[/quote] I actually live in long island too lol. I havent been to the mac counters in so long because the ones by my house i hate. They all have attitudes so id rather shop online. I have 5 macs that are near me. 4 of em are in 1 mall. I was able to get the things i wanted from this collection and i dont buy backups because i rarely finish a lipstick and i would rather someone who doesnt have a product to have the chance to get it themselves so i didnt bother to go visit the store
