MAC Retro Matte collection (September 12, 2013)

I agree! It's just too confusing for the customer and for the artist. There's already so many collections coming in and out of of their heads for those that can't remember names, and if there's a collection with a mishmosh of LE & perm items, it's just retarded! If they're gonna play that game, bring some out LE first, then later bring out the perm shades.

I definitely agree. Plus, you know there are going to be workers at the stores and counters who are going to get confused pn which ones are which, and that could just cause chaos.

And freelancers who aren't trained on squat. And some artists who don't bother to learn anything remotely related to their jobs.

When these release online for pros, we'll be able to let everyone know what is LE/perm. If they're LE, I'd order online and not wait. If they're perm then you can B2M for them in stores (and they can't say shit cuz they're perm!). As far as BUs, that's a personal choice. I always BU, regardless of whether it's perm or not. I don't take chances, cuz we all know how mac operates!

You're so right about MAC and their flakiness. Items come out, are listed as perm then magically have the triangle of death underneath their names

Exactly! All the info i post comes from the update book, or my source, which gets their info from mac memos (which as we've seen is subject to change, as evidenced by liqueur lipglass. It wasn't listed in the book!). So as you can see, all the lipsticks are listed as perm, which is what i reported. Extremely annoying!

Leave it to MAC to successfully piss buyers off in some form for almost every release! What I might do since I do plan to buy 2 of everything I want (kit and personal use) is buy one set online and B2M the 2nd set. But like you said, if they release early for pros we can alert everyone to what is listed as LE and what isn't so they'll know what to order online and what to B2M for (and hope the stores don't pull the "You can't B2M for this collection" spill)

So now that the in-store release date looks like it's been moved up a week (still taking that with a grain of salt until I hear from Erine or some other reputable source), can we expect these to pop up online sometime this week perhaps? I feel like I need to extend my window of time that I will be stalking...

Kinda regretting taking in most of my empties today and B2M ing them lol no patience .. Now I have to pay full price for these as I wait for my pro card , damnit or wait til my card comes in but once again.. No patience

I was a bit disappointed with Relentessly Red... I think it is not coral at all. To me it is a bright pinkish-red.
I only bought Fixed on Drama of this collection. It is absolutely divine, it will be a big fave of mine in this fall/winter.
Flat Out Fabulous is also really lovely, but I will wait with this one, I will B2MAC it later.
