 No way! We all just have to wait and see what happens. Thank you for the info, as always, Erine!

I was a bit disappointed with Relentessly Red... I think it is not coral at all. To me it is a bright pinkish-red. I only bought Fixed on Drama of this collection. It is absolutely divine, it will be a big fave of mine in this fall/winter. Flat Out Fabulous is also really lovely, but I will wait with this one, I will B2MAC it later.
I hate when the name implies one colour, but it's really another.
hey guys I'm catching up after being away for a long while. I have a question about depotting. Can someone school me on if the rules have changed for B2M? I have not depotted in about 1.5 to 2 years and I remember there being problems with them not taking shadow depots if the silver pan was not inside. Is this still so? Also what kind of magnets are you all using after depotting? I used to have some but I don't know where they went and I want to make sure the ones I buy are not too thick, making the shadow sit up too high in the palette Thanks.. Any other tips would be great! I plan to b2m for atleast 1 or 2 of these lippies
Refrigerator magnets are the perfect thickness, if not a tiny bit thin, so if you can find something slightly thicker, you'll be good to go!
As far as I understand the only rules that have technically changed are that they no longer take "disposables" ie wipe containers and pro pans aren't accepted. People have also had issues with depotted eyeshadows and blushes that don't contain a metal pan, but I never have. The main problem is that the rules are not consistently enforced. I would call your local store to see what their rules are.
Actually, wipes have always counted, same for lash cases. They're considered a primary packaging, as they hold the wipes. Now whether or not your location will accept them is another story. Same for depotted pots. Every three months the policy changes. LE items in regular black packaging have ALWAYS been included, in the 10+ years that i shopped and 6+'years that i worked at mac. This is the FIRST time that it's been written that they've been excluded from the B2M program. But as i posted last week, i was able to recycle for 4 of the Indulge lipsticks. So even tho it's policy, tho new, it's not being followed. Written in this same policy 2 years, mac was allowing depotted pots, but not the pans. Then a year ago, the policy said no depots, but they still accepted them. Now the policy doesn't mention anything whatsoever about it, and many locations are enforcing the "no" policy. This is why MAC sucks as a company. It sucked working for them, and it sucks shopping with them. As a company, if you're gonna have a policy (that you constantly change) and not equally enforce company-wide, you need to actually HAVE the policy and have it written somewhere so that customers can ask to see it. I suggest that everyone ask to, if denied, to see the the
CURRENT "no depots" policy. As you can see, as i post it again, there isn't one.
*BUT do pick your battles! If you're trying to use
depots on
LE items, and they allow the LE, but refuse the depots, don't ask to see the policy! Cuz you'll be steppin right in it! USE YOUR BRAIN!!!
Exactly. I've never had a problem with pan-less depots either. When I turned some in about 2 weeks ago the girl smiled and said she depotted her shadows too since their counter doesn't sale the refills. She was the manager so I know in her case she wasn't sneaking around their counter policy. Oh and I think the updated policy Erine posted said they won't B2M for any LE items, even if they are in regular packaging (emphasis on THINK lol). But I believe some people were never able to do that at some stores/counters.
Yeah, my sister has never had an issue using depots in ATL, but then again she sandwiches them between the outer two that are flipped bottoms outward, so you can't see em, and they're in multiple ziplock baggies, so you can easily count them, without taking them out. Quick and easy, sneaky-like
