:nope: same colour. VG I is being repromoted, and they added VG I in gloss form. Ru was the spokeswoman for VG I Sorry, i guess my response was confusing. I edited it.
Oh ok. I was pretty sure the color was the same as it was originally. I recall the campaign...it was a huge deal back then. That and the fact that it was RuPaul lol. Still the best cosmetics fundraising campaign ever IMO. I mean the entire Viva Glam line...not just Ru's campaign

Yep, they're selling out fast.  I'm surprised
I think it's because they listed these as LE despite conflicting info provided via blogs. If they aren't LE they sure have done anything to calm the chatter down so people are scrambling just in case. I called my local Dillards counter and they said that they are being told that they ARE LE despite their book saying that they are perm so they seem to be confused also. They are just a counter though versus being an actual MAC store although I'm not sure if that matters much. Has MAC ever made a last minute change or is the printed info pretty much golden?

I am so mad that I missed out on Flat Out Fabulous and All Fired Up lipsticks! I only ordered Fashion Boost PLW lip liner today and I will wait for Nordstrom to have the collection up online to place my order on the lipsticks that I wanted.

Not sure if anyone's posted this yet, but I believe the LE shades are Steady Going, Runway Hit, and Fixed on Drama. The website has only these 3 colors listed as Limited Edition. Hope this helps someone's wallet a little bit.

I'm curious about this as well.

Ok I now see that only Steady Going, Runway Hit and Fixed On Drama are listed as LE and the rest are permanent. I'm so relieved!!

They are updating the site, guess that's why it is so slow. But all the lipsticks are supposed to be perm.

Now only Fashion Boost liner is listed as LE. Slowly but surely they are fixing this.
:fluffy: Great...but I'm sure they took their time doing so. Highly doubt it took this long for them to know things weren't listed right. Positive note is that Ebayers won't be able to hike the price of these up too high (unless it takes MAC a long time to restock sold out colors).

I believe all the lipsticks and liners are permanent. I think the confusion is causing people to rush to buy them because they think they are LE.

Hello all! I just joined Specktra just so I could ask this question. It's about time though, because all the swatches and comments I find here are so helpful. Sorry if this has already been asked, but can anyone answer the two following questions for me? How does the Pro Lip Pencil in Fashion Boost compare to MAC Magenta? How does the Pro Lip Pencil in Shock Value compare to NYX Dolly Pink? Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!

As of right now we aren't sure of either. Fashion Boost might be a dupe of Magenta but that could depend on your skintone. Dolly Pink looks more of a baby pink and Shock Value is a brighter, darker and bolder pink.
