my hubs had it last year (he's 57) & it was AWFUL! He drove me crazy as much as IT drove him crazy

They told him he needs to get the expensive vaccine for it.

Yeah I'm only 28. She told me it may have been brought on by stress. I'm on viral meds now and feeling ok.

Yep. I knew 3 people that got it at the same time - & all three had just gotten over that terrible flu. Weird

Good morning my ladies! Wow such beautiful pictures in this thread. I haven't been able to make my purchases yet but I will soon. Haven't been posting much because I've been busy teaching and I just got a dog. Also, I've been taking it easy because I came down with shingles I'm on meds now but it sucks. Hope you girls are enjoying your lippies!

All the swatches and comparisons are so helpful but I wonder if Fod is similar to kirsch mattene? Is dangerous similar to chili? Can someone help me with a swatch of these please?

Ugh, that really sucks. All those commercials I see(daily) are always targeted towards older people, they never mentioned youngins can get it too!

My doctor actually said that lately she's been seeing a lot of young people get it.

Dammit hboy:  Off to go research now lol.

Yes sorry about. When I originally swatched them they were on the opposite position. Then I re-did the swatches.

I'm honestly still not sure what Shingles really is. Might need to do some researching.

Heard that chicken pox when you're older is worse but I wasn't even in kindergarten yet when I had it. Also didn't realize you could keep getting shingles once you've had it. That's probably the only positive of CP....you only get it once.

Shingles is worse cuz it affects the nerve, so that's why it hurts. But you can actually get chicken pox more than once, tho its not common. Chicken pox when you're older is worse cuz you're health is more compromised, so it can actually be deadly depending on your age and health factors.

True. I would say it is worse than chicken pox. The doctor did prescribe me Vicodin for the pain. It is painful on the rash but I'm too afraid to take Vicodin because I'm a light weight and may feel too drunk with it. I've managed the pain with advils right now and its bareable. Anywho, I don't want to take away from this thread. I may send my mom to Mac for some retro mattes. I know that would definitely make me feel better. Haha
