So annoyed that I've missed on Runway Hit and Steady going. I thought they were all going to be permanent so I didn't rush and now I'm regretting it!
Now that you mention this, I think there's still some confusion. My close by Nordstroms MAC MU told me that all retro mattes are permanent. Those are even in the lipstick stands with the rest of the lipsticks.

It is just odd that not all have the same info. My Nordstrom and MAC freestanding store are in the same mall, so I noticed this when I went for Divine Night release. The freestanding stire still has the display with just the lipsticks they have available, only 3 colors. So idk what is up with that.

That must be the only thing I never heard it be used for. Sounds like a big no no to me... Still, I might have to pick up a jar of udder cream. As a child I used to use it. Might come in handy. I don't think I would use it on the lips though :hmm: . Tbh I am fairly picky in lip balms. I really don't like using petroleum jelly on my lips for example. That doesn't seem to do anything for me anyhow.
I don't either anything with the word petroleum in front of it isn't going on my mouth lol

Its actually quite safe I would not buy into the hype.
I'm sure it's safe it's just a personal preference. I just think its gross. I would use it for other things. I know I would have to eat it to get sick, my step dad used to always think I was stupid for using organic baby soaps on my kids. He would always say "you know how much you'd have to eat blah blah" yah he was a dick lol

Aha that's a good point. The taste leaves much to be desired. Biologicaly speaking petroleum jelly is good as a barrier for skin and lips and hypoallergenic was my only point. There are "organic" companies that try to perpetuate a myth that products made from petroleum are bad when that isn't true.

Oh I have Patisserie. I was gonna try Lazy Day under but either should work. Now what can we layerunder RH?
I'd try Sweet & Sour or Jazzed. Runway Hit doesn't give me that dry cracking situation like some of the other retro mattes do. Honestly only TTT and FOD are the picky ones for me and the rest are fine and RH is pretty much the best one.

It'll have a different texture, but there's a vampy color coming out as part of the Huggable Lipcolour collection that looks (on paper) really close to FOD - if you can't get FOD and can handle it not being matte, I bet you will be happy with it! FOD does look amazing on you - perfect red for you, for sure!
Thanks liba! i would love a non matte version of FOD! this color really surprised me! i will definitely look into the Huggable Lipcolous collection for that color =]

The only lipstick I bought from this collection was FOD. And I backed it up because I didn't trust that MAC would make it perm lol. Glad I did :) It's been my everyday fall color. I think I will try the others in store. Dangerous has looked amazing on everyone so far.
