now, this may be very disappointing.. i just received my ALL FIRED UP and i am not very pleased with it.. it is very drying.. and the color is not what i expected it to be.. i loved it in each and every swatch on the web.. but on me, it is red, not fuchsia.. i really wanted to like the lipstick.. i wanted an everyday wearable lipstick on work and all.. a warm toned pinkish fuchsia that would complement my olive skin tone.. but, the sad story is this lipstick does not brighten up my face.. i am never going to buy a lipstick online again :( :( i will be posting a pic wearing the lipstick ..
later :( my mother in law will be under going an operation tomorrow.. please pray for her every one

OMG. I agree with you. All Fired Up is very drying. I don't care how much lip balm you put on your lips. Like you, it looks more red than fuchsia on me too. If the woman in the Retro Matte ad is wearing All Fired Up I don't see it. I actually thought she was wearing Flat Out Fabulous.

My best wishes for you and your family as your mother-in-law undergoes surgery.

It is not drying on me but it is very red. It is more red than Relentlessly Red. I agree the promo looks like FOF.

I agree that staying hydrating helps combat dryness all the way around. I struggle with staying hydrated and I can definitely tell the difference in my makeup and lipstick application when I need water. Even still, I do have to work to make certain retro mattes work regardless. But that's OK by me, because I like the look I can achieve with them.

try the first thing in the morning, water front-loading trick I was talking about. Nothing else makes me feel so hydrated and healthy all day. it's actually considered a medial treatment in traditional Chinese medicine.

Those retro mattes are very unforgiving, no matter what. Some of them don't stain either, and require just as much re-application as creamier formulas, too, to keep the finish up (TTT, I'm looking at you, but they all do it a little).

I'm going to try that for a week and see if I notice a difference. Anything that might help is worth a try! Thanks @liba!!!

I have finally B2M for Flat Out Fabulous and All Fired Up lipsticks! I am so happy now! Both look super pretty and cannot wait to play with them!

Like lush? Lol they hate on petroleum base lip scrubs. I'm guessing especially sugar lips or w.e the popular one is? I use petroleum on my 2 year olds butt lol for diaper rash so I'm not against it. BTT Okay so I don't like how runaway hit photographs on my tan skin. I wore it on Halloween and I think it makes me look kinda washed out and maybe slightly older? But that could be because it was super dark and I had to wear my glasses lol
