I tried to like matte nail polish, but it generally hasn't stayed on for more than half a day! I like the finish, just need to find a more durable formula.

I've been debating whether or not to get anything from this collection. I already have Show Orchid, and I am rather intrigued by the silver l/s and gloss. Hmmm...decisions, decisions.

Im looking forward to the matte nail polishes.
They really havn't come over to england at all yet. I have tried every cosmetics shop in guildford and the sales assistants all looked at me like I was insane every single time I asked

I've always admired Show Orchid on others, perhaps finally I will try this on. Not sure I can pull it off, but if I can do bold red lips, then I'll give a bold pink lip a whirl.

Show Orchid owns every other pink lipstick out there. Trust me, I'm a pink lipstick whore and SO is tops.

I think I'll be getting Bubbles l/s from this... I missed out on it last time.

Is it just me or does Ravishing l/s look really similar to Blooming Lovely l/s from LoL in the swatches..?

Do you mean Riveting l/s?

I think Riveting is way more brown/taupe than Blooming Lovely... IMO Blooming Lovely l/s looks more mauve to me....

If I had to pick between the two, I'd get Blooming Lovely, because taupe l/s tend to make me look like death

I agree that Show Orchid owns all MAC lipsticks!

It's funny but the Essie matte top coat last on me up to 5 days. I've never actually tried a matte polish though. I just layer my regular polishes with Essie Matte About You

^^ That must be the key to success! I was going to ask that in my other post but I forgot.... I think because you put the normal nail polish on and then a matte top coat it has better staying power... Because trust me, pure matte nail polishes are shocking! They chip after a few hours! The OPI matte bottles even come with this little tag with a warning that says mattes don't "wear as well" as regular n/p! lol

I agree, plus Riveting is a glaze so it's going to be sheer, where as Blooming Lovely being an AC is a lot more pigmented. I also gather that BL will be lighter in color.

I really don't like matte nail polish,kinda blah to me.The only thing I'm getting from this is the silver gloss and silver lipstick.

This collections is a dream for me! I've just begun to get into my lips and brights! I need Show Orchid l/s and that True Babe l/g~ And both Pro blushes!
Just because these were at arm's reach for some doesn't mean it was the same for everybody else ladies!

this is very true! i used my matte lincoln park after dark and then put hand cream on - it didn't go glossy but it did go kind of 'sheeny' looking! like satiny... if you get what i mean!

After looking at the promo image (posted on Karla Sugar's site), I am kinda intrigued with what it would look like to put the silver l/g over a darker purple, maybe even over Riveting l/s...

I might be getting the hot pink lipglass, bubbles which I already have but want a backup, and maybe the penultimate liner. Does anyone have this? Do you like it? Smashbox just came out with something similar, so I'm not sure which one I should get.

I don't think I am getting anything from Riveting and I hope that doesn't change

I've been lemming the penultimate for a long time but I am in no rush since it is permanent
