I called today and asked my MA to hold Metal Maven and Bubbles and the silver l/g. For those who have seen these l/s, can either be worn alone with gloss over? Or are they best layered over darker/brighter shades? I am trying to decide if I really need them...

Audrey,I have seen this irl,and Metal Maven is an extremely pale pale silver.It would be best to layer it over a brighter lippie.I am getting it,and I'm actually going to try wearing it realy lightly on it own,with maybe some pale pink gloss over it.I think it would look beautiful that way as well.
The silver gloss I think you could wear on it's own if you put a thin layer on.

i plan on wearing the gloss over some pink lip stains because i think that would look quite nice. and also using it with hot pink lipsticks like girl about town

I was sworn that I was only going to get a backup of Bubbles since I only got one when it first came out. But I'm telling you- I have to STOP coming on Specktra b/c I go from wanting ONE item to now wanting 4

. I am definitely getting Bubbles of course

I can only speak for Bubbles since I already have it- I like it both ways. I layer it over brighter shades (love using it with Big Bow

) Bubbles really changes the look of the lippie and in a gorgeous way

. I also wear this alone with lip gloss. My current fave way to wear it like this is either with Resort Life lipgelee or Rags to Riches d/g!
I'm pretty excited to see what Metal Maven will make lippies look like when using it for layering

It's my FAVE combo ever!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm usually not one to go for over the top lippies. I bought Big Bow originally b/c it was gorgeous in the tube and super unique and gorgeous swatched on my hand. But when I tried it on I was like WHOA. It was over the top for what I'm used to. But wearing it with Bubbles is my favorite. Now I'm wishing I had a BU of Big Bow too

ooooooo I just tried Bubbles on top of Pink Burst

. Pink Burst seemed too much for me and I was planning on returning it. But swatching it with Bubbles is making me reconsider. If I don't return Pink Burst, the only way I will wear it is with Bubbles. hmmmmmm I wonder how it will look with Metal Maven

I think I'm just gonna try Bubbles on top of everything I own
