MAC - Rodarte Discussion

A big thank you to all of you for the good wishes!

I'm always afraid to move to a new city (and a new job!) but thankfully, nearly everything is planned now. I had the hardest time finding a new place and feel quite relaxed now that all turned out fine.

Thankfully both my parents and my bf will support me financially (my job doesn't pay that well) which I'm really thankful for, but the funds for make-up will be really small during the next months. Bother that MAC has so many great collections coming out then!

Don't worry dear!! Everything will be just fine!!

And don't even bother with your small make up budget, Mac will have awesome things too when you can afford them!!

The MA's here are going on Update in two weeks, so then I'll hopefully be able to find out if we are getting this collection or not.

mac always has wonderful things coming out! so just because you can't get much from one collection doesn't mean that in 6 months time you can't splurge on goodies from new collections!

And getting just 2 or 3 items from one collection makes them extra special

One of the counters had a trainer visiting today, so I asked about this collection. They don't know yet if Rodarte will be released in Sweden, but hope to more info in a month or so.

The big news however is that all our collection releases will be on the 8th instead of 15th from now on! Yay!

I wish we had a specific release date for all collections too, it would be nice not to worry all the time when they come out. Even when I ask at the counter one MA says they come out on the second day of each month, other says every first thursday of the month and they might not be either in the end. I get an email about new collections, but that comes only day or two before the release and I want to know sooner!

White gold is PRO and it is beautiful! I love this under the brow. It's gorgeous and I horde my supply like it really has gold in it. Mine doesn't look as green as that swatch though. It looks more like white with gold reflects.

Yes- I just dug out my sample of it, and I put it over a black base and just on my hand. Over black, it definitely looks more green. By itself, I find it has just a subtle hint of green, with gold being the more prominent color.

the glosses are the crappy tricolour glosses from before, with the same crappy wand and crappy wiper system.
