lol.. Spunky -- I do not live in Scotland.. but even if I did I would keep these in a refrigerator for hygenic reasons and also to preserve the colors for my work for as long as possible.
If I need to look for the actual sample of a lipstick, I cannot rely on pics of swatches

Actually MAC lippies have a very good life/longevity -- I have some that are about 12-15 years old

i have no idea! but i have the urge to slap it out of her hand every time she uses it! it's not a particularly nice shade either - well not for her colouring anyways. it is a dark browny colour and looks kinda matte... perhaps it lost it's sparkle with age?!

the thought of my precious queen's sin like that gives me palpatations!
is it something you'd recommend everyone to do? i'm thinking that when i go home on sunday the first thing i'll do is rearrange my fridge so my lipsticks get the top shelf

honestly, i could probably leave my lipsticks out in my garden and they'd stay nice and cool, the weather here is so rubbish! not going to risk it though
is it something you'd recommend everyone to do? i'm thinking that when i go home on sunday the first thing i'll do is rearrange my fridge so my lipsticks get the top shelf

HAHA that is so funny! My Mom is the same way! I am shocked at the things she still has that are so old and smell. Last time I went to visit her I threw so much stuff out. Honestly, it was just unreal. She never throws ANYTHING away. And I'm not just talking about makeup either.

The nail polishes do not look as good as they did in another picture I saw--not as good at all

Let's just say I have to throw out food too. She is just one of those people who hates to throw things out! When I went to see her and I was drinking some Iced Tea, she said "Don't drink that - it's old and is probably bad!" I nearly choked to death! Oh well - everyone's different, right?
