Thank you, Naynadine! Does Splashproof Lash add volume to your lash? "No flaking and no smudging" sound good to me.

I couldn't agree more! I hope Prep + Prime Lip will make my Partial to Pink CSG last longer on my lips.

@ "skippety skip". LOL

I hope Dark Diversion will look nice on me. I'll get it Monday.

I think there are better ones out there for giving volume, SL gives more of a natural look I would say. But the fact that it doesn't flake and also holds up the curl all day (my lashes are straight and short, I couldn't live without my lash curler!) is good enough for me.

I'm still debating on getting Dark Diversion. On temptali's swatches, it looks like a purple redish plum color. Nothing like my macroviolet. But swatches on here say differently. Do I need both? lol
Oh and for those of you who don't have Rich Ground... It's beautiful! On of my favorite FL's
It makes your eyes pop and it gives a sultry look. I love it!

I think DD and Macroviolet are different enough to warrant having both.

Finally, the blushes....

When it comes to Supercontinental, I didn't really give it much thought. We tried it out on the apples, on top of Worldly Wealth. Nice texture, but frankly, I'm perfectly happy with my Immortal Flower, Lovecloud and Modern Mandarin (not to mention stuff like Marine Life and various MBs). Very easy to resist temptation on this one for me.

Worldly Wealth has a great texture - plenty of metallic sheen but buttery smooth. Unlike Temptalia, I didn't think it accentuated my pores at all....far from it. It was kind of a weird shade for me, though. I felt like I was running into the same situation I had with Earthshine, where it looked a little dirty. Blending it out did bring out the orange tone in it, like T was saying. I still put it on hold, because my MA was loving it, and I trust his judgement (he was meh about Earthshine with me too, but not this one). I think as my tan fades, I'll probably like this color on me more. It's got a right amount of sheen to work into late fall, or even winter, since it's not glittery.

Hidden Treasure isn't as red as I was hoping, but it's definitely brighter and more intense than Early Morning. It's also more red than Ring of Saturn, but not if you have a RoS that has lots of the peach in it. The fact it's not glittery or with lots of sheen is nice for fall and winter. I reserved it too, but I'm going to go in with my Early Morning and RoS and compare them before I break down and buy.

All in all, if you aren't a fan of Mineralize Blushes, now you finally get to have beautiful colors like WW and HT, that have been out this year in MB form. If you already have the MBs and MSFs, it may be a bit overkill to get these if you're going to buff them down anyways. I personally liked HT the best out of the bunch on me, but WW is really tempting and will be great for mixing with all those Tres Cheek colors (or Supercontinental, etc.).

Crap, I like Worldly Wealth. That one's now also on my maybe list. I have Glorify but Worldly Wealth is a lot less shimmery..

Also, this is what I've got on hold:

Local Wares
Dark Diversion

Worldly Wealth * (in between * and **, lol)
Hidden Treasure *

Styleseeker
Gadabout Girl **

One thing about Glorify - it's much sheerer than WW, so if you're pale, you can get a really nice veil of color, without having to fuss with buffing or worry that the shade looks a little off on your skin tone.

WW has quite a high metallic sheen to it, but it's a smooth sheen without individual sparkle bits. It's still metallic, though - blending it down doesn't get rid of that. Glorify isn't much more sheen-y, in facet, but it does catch the light a little differently, since it's sheerer.

You're right, it is metallic, WW seemed a lot less shimmery/sheeny to me because it lacks the individual sparkles. I don't need it. Thanks!!

Hidden Treasures is beautiful. I'm so glad I got a backup.

The duo is not particularly unique, but I didn't have another orangey-gold in my collection like Chessa; and while I have plenty of warm browns in my collection, Indie Spirit had enough of a different nuance in it's tone, that I wanted that color as well. I haven't used the duo in any eye looks yet.

Indie Spirit did remind me a little of Brown Script, which I know is more red-toned, but I pulled it out for comparison. They look similar in the pan, but you can see the difference when swatched. It was difficult to get a really good pic to capture the true color of these shadows, but it'll still give you an idea. The only other shadow in my collection that I think may be similar is from my NARS Surabaya duo, which I can't seem to locate right now so I can't say for sure - just recalling from memory.

Without flash

Right: Brown Script, Left: Indie Spirit

With Flash
Darn....I might just need that es duo after all!

I ordered Eclectic Edge and that's it. I just can't deny anything orange or coral. While I was at it, I ordered Moth Brown from By Request. It seems to be a really interesting color.

Yep, I do have more than one. I held out opening my previous one because I didn't want to have too many fluidlines/gel eyeliners open at one time. Yesterday was the first time swatching it (see right swatch below), and after seeing how smooth it applied and how great it looks on my skin tone, I now see getting a lot of use of it, both as a base and eyeliner. It's a gorgeous color!

I love it! It had more red/brown in it... making it more flaterring. I can't wait! I have been trying to pick up more redish toned shades for my green eyes. I think this will look amazing. Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it!

I'm wearing that "pretty damn orange" now! LOL I just dabbed it on and added the orangey CSG for a softer look. In fact, due to all the Prep & Prime talk, I used the P&P lip with it. I also used my prep and prime cheek compact. I buy these items but forget to use them and after awhile I completely forget the purpose of them. I have one Prep and Prime product that I cannot for the life of me remember the purpose of it.

Anyway, back on topic - I just got my box.

Off to play with my goodies. I can't believe I just finished putting on my face and my box comes. I actually decided to go with the EL Bronze Sands palette that I've ignored this summer but I did use Marine Life. I've been trying to use this one more. I was in love with it two?? summers ago, what happened? I still love it though.
do you have any pics of yourself wearing saigon summer? i'd love to see how it looks on nc44 if you don't mind posting it...it's okay if you don't want to....i guess i can always try i ton in store next time! the other day the sales people seemed more into chatting with each other than helping me out with stuff....can't blame them cuz i was there pretty late in the evening!
