It would be perfect for a holiday collection (although not very 60s inspired). It's time for a repromote of QS!

The only thing that works really well for me is a super thin bent eyeliner brush. I tend to end up with cat eyes if I use the 211 brushI'd like to try the Local Wares and Dark Diversion fluildline even though I haven't been successful at applying it yet. A girl can dream (and perhaps practice) I guess.
Are you a Pro member? If not, then you won't be able to see it.I don't see the site map? I saw it on the actual pro website, but didn't see style seeker and I didn't see a site map on the actual shop site
Thanks for the tip. I purchased one this year, but sent it back to Sephora because I couldn't get it figured out. Granted I only tried it twice For years I've only worn very basic makeup whenever I do apply it (b/c I think I look pretty good w/o it) so wings, cat eye, and even smoky eye elude me. Recently I decided to improve my skills and break out of my rut.The only thing that works really well for me is a super thin bent eyeliner brush. The last ones were $27.50 in the US.Do we know what the duo cost will be yet? I'd love to know the Canadian price if anyone has seen it...
Thanks. I really don't like buying potted shadows, and it would make me crazy to pay some insane premium for these when I'll be so tempted to depot them the instant they arrive. Singled potted shadows are $18 here and $14 for palette shadows. The last ones were $27.50 in the US.

I've depotted quads before without any problem. It's no biggie.Yes, I really want to depot the duos I have already but I am chicken!
What most people don't realize is that any kind of sunscreen will fade after a few hours. So even if you start the day with SPF 45 at 8am, by 11am it will be dramatically reduced. Thus unless you reapply - which might be difficult when wearing make up - you are exposed to the UV radiation. In that case, the best option - yet not ideal - is to use a powder product, e.g. MSFN, to shield the skin against the sun.I've narrowed my list to Marché aux Puces, On the Hunt and Local Wares. I'm prepared to order all of those blind. I love olive green and I'm confident that I'll love the fluidline. I have Dark Diversion and really like it; I bought it and Dark Envy from the Canadian website in May.
I'll wait to see the Mattenes in person; I just ordered Moscow (skipping Scarlet Ibis) and Amsterdam (skipping Rocker) so I'm not sure that I still want Camden Chic. I have quite a few reds now (VG1, Ruffian Red, Fire Sign) and may wait for a more Queen's Sin like colour. I have Sail la Vie and Autumn Leaves (adore that one) and I don't want to dupe oranges either. Fall colours are the most flattering on me but I have way too many lippies on the go as it is and I'm tempted by all of the fall purple lippies being launched. I'd love to find one that works for someone as warm toned as I am.
Unfortunately, despite wearing SPF 45 religiously on my vacation, I still tanned quite a bit. I can still manage my tinted moisturizer in medium, but my foundations are all too light for me and I don't want to add a darker one to what I already have open. I tan way too easily - I loved that when I was in my teens/early 20s but hate it now.I hope it fades quickly since I prefer to wear foundation to work.![]()
I didn't wear much makeup on my vacation - usually just sunscreen, a paint pot/mascara and a CSG. Oh, and a touch of blot powder here and there but more often I used blotting sheets. It was far too hot for a full face of makeup, primer or no primer. I did make a point of reapplying sunscreen noonish each day, but it wasn't enough. I just tan very easily. Maybe I needed more than SPF 45. None of us burnt so it obviously was effective, but I tanned way more than the rest of the family. What most people don't realize is that any kind of sunscreen will fade after a few hours. Having said that, I would not recommend a very high SPF when one is mainly inside, e.g. during work if you have an office job. Most skins will react to sunscreen over the time, most noticeable is dry spots or dry skin in general. Sunscreen can be very abrasive indeed and result in allergies or hypersensitive skin.
I religiously wear sunscreen when I am outside, but when I know I will be mostly inside, I try to avoid products with higher SPF, especially when I layer several products suchs as a moisturizer, beauty balm, foundation, as my skin gets too dry. On beach vacations, however, I usually use at least SPF 70 or higher in addition to powder veils.
The new quads ? How do you do it ?I've depotted quads before without any problem. It's no biggie.
Check videos on YouTube. They take a bit more time than the old quads but are mostly the same process as the pots. The new quads ? How do you do it ?
They will probably go up soon as quads are now $40... So $28.50? I bet Mac is loving the duos because they get way more money for two than four. The last ones were $27.50 in the US.
