Having it repromoted in the Manish Arora palette brought me insane amounts of joy. I FINALLY found one for sale after that came out, but by then it was moot.

I wish it wasn't in a palette with Manish. I didnt want to get the whole palette, I dont need a million eyeshadows

Ok,Ok, I know I'm so late to the game...but Ohmygosh...I am SOOOOO in love with the leopard print caps - WOOT! WOOT! Probably only gonna get just a few things, but for sure something with those gorgeous caps (psst, prolly the pink nude lippie...ya think)

I wanted most of the shadows in the palette and got it for retail, so I was happy.

I was in NYC when it released that year but I wasn't a MAC addict yet, not until end of the year. lol I think at that time I bought 2 lipglasses or eye shadows a year. But I managed to buy most of C shock a year later from specktra members.

But Going Bananas wasn't one of them.

I don't work for MAC, but I do work for EL (CCO) and get an employee discount.

True that they have higher prices, but with the number of collections that MAC is coming out with, and being the MAC addicts that we are, we've probably forked out hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars on MAC per year. I think this amount is probably way more than what the EL/Lancome addicts are spending. MAC needs to find a way to reward our loyalty and willingness to pay for their collections.

They do when they have F&F sales....CCO discounted pricing......Or maybe they will when people stop buying....since we know that is not gonna happen...Good Luck with those thoughts...because I personally will not stop buying because I don't get something free or extra. Most stores I buy from I don't get anything free...except the grocery...Buy 2 get 3 free ...But they have raised the price most times on the two to compensate for the free one. I think the best way to save is cut back on your spending. Can't blame MAC because we have no self control...thats what they bank on.

Hmm I don't get the F&F sales or CCO here. I pay full price for everything.

I'm not blaming MAC, as you can see I'm still continuing to buy their products, I just said it'll be nice if they could give us some freebies or something.

Yeah it would be nice for us...Not so much for them...I honestly think compared to most High End Cosmetic lines MAC has Excellent prices...Chanel, Bobbi Brown their prices are crazy expensive...Even MUFE is more expensive. I think if they start doing that we start expecting it...so they probably just stay away from it all..yep the accessories are expensive...But I just don't buy them

^^ Or MAC could come up with a loyalty point system, and give away a freebie for every $10,000 spent. I think we are crazy enough to qualify for it, given a few years time.
