I wish I could take credit for this gripping, in-depth, piece of fashion journalism, but, really, all I did was copy it from Reuters, who, later admitted to stealing the expose from “Harpies Bazarre”, and even they claim it was a story they, originally, picked up from “The Glittered Gazette”, some free gossip rag published in Budapest.

Not sure who snagged the photo, but as they say in the reporting biz “It was a good get!”

Didn’t Kieth Olbermann feature The Pink Ninja in one of his “Best Persons in the World” segments?

I just bought all six seasons (134 episodes) of Xena on DVD at an estate sale last Summer $45 – still in its shrink wrap! Including a book of postcards, a biography, and a friggin’ action figure doll or two!
How Gay is that – I ask you?
Don’t answer that…

What a deal! Love that.

You've got me beat - I only own 3 of the seasons on DVD.

That show should have been given more credit. To say some of the storylines were epic would be understating it. Granted, I am a completely unabashed scifi/fantasy geek. And proud of it!

Though, anonymous sources have alleged that The Pink Ninja may have underground ties to a suspected Radical Fashionista Group called the “Dazzleglass Bimbos” a.k.a., B.I.M.B.O.S. Other sources have confirmed the RFG has ties to “Specktra”, the powerful beauty media dynasty, created and owned by beauty mogul, known only by the name of "Janice".

I love you! That is seriously priceless

Please, please, please tell me you are a devotee of BayCon - The San Francisco Bay Area Regional Science Fiction & Fantasy Convention???

It's been going on here in our backyard for the past 27 years in San Jose/Santa Clara at the Double Tree Hotel.

Roughly 2500 people from all over the world from all ages from 8 to 80 attend religiously on Memorial Day Weekend, it's a blast!

The Host hotel reserves 2 whole floors for the attendees and one floor is reserved for the "Party Suites" wherein each room on the floor hosts a party room of a different SciFi/Fantasy theme. It's soooo much Fun!
th_DANCE.gif

They present a Masquerade Ball and contest, Rock and Swing Dancing with multiple D.J.'s, seminars, workshops and on Friday Night if you're so inclined, they present one of the largest gatherings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show shown on the Big Screen. People go nuts!

It's like Halloween all weekend long at the Hotel, it really gives people an opportunity to get really dressed up and crazy - and really the best place to show off your craft with costuming and makeup/special effects, etc.
Or you simply don't have to dress at all and just enjoy being a voyeur on some other planet….so to speak!

The best part, though, is the SALES ROOM!!!

If you’ve never been to BayCon before and you live in the Bay Area – well I’m simply going to have to kidnap you!!!

Are we then implying that Adina may, actually, be The Real Pink Ninja?

If so, we’d better be more careful - we may be getting her into some serious trouble!

I have to say that I had images of Tina Turner in Mad Max and in Tommy as the Acid Queen, phew...

But it would be really cool to have some of David Bowie's looks over the years, I mean he's a true style warrior in my book.

Oh my goodness, thanks for all this info! I've never been much of a convention person, so I honestly am quite clueless about what's out there, even in my own backyard! (I live in Los Altos) Needless to say, I've never been to Baycon.

If you go this year, would love to meet up!
