I dont think solar bits is a must. They are very chunky and they cause a lot of fall out. I cant describe it, but i dont like the sheen it leaves on my eye its sort of shimmery and shiny and metallic, my lids feel like its a discoball. But if you like that look, go for it!

I've never bought any of the Solar Bits too. I do want to try them out though.

Wow, this is a big collection...and I'll probably be passing on most of it. I like the looks of Brave New Bronze, Soft Force, Vibrant Grape, and Night Maneuvers. The packaging is pretty awesome, though.

I'm not too fond of the packaging, but the collection looks pretty nice! I dunno, leopard print is just kinda icky to me.. the zebra looks decent but eh..
not to say im not getting anything from this collection, maybe 1 or 2 things, but there are other collections im more excited about!

Applying solar bits wet and packing them on looks nice. Although I really love scatterays applied over gold mode like that.
