I asked about the Pro discount a few pages back and erine said we might get it because its special, but not "special". I take that to mean its special packaging, but not a collaboration so we may get it we may not.
No you guys wouldn't get the "unhappiness" about not being able to use a discount. You are not in the industry. Its not necessarily unhappiness, but part of our job is keeping up with trends. People request MAC be used on them and they want the newest collections. It makes our job slightly harder when they cost us more. So yes we hope to get a discount. I don't get why anytime we inquire, there are so many comments about how you guys have to pay full price. Get over it, so does everyone else who is not in the industry. The people who get a discount generally work hard to get it. In theory anyway.
If I can't get my discount and the products are full price, I'll just buy less. Its not like I don't buy anything, but I have a budget for new products. So I'm a lot more selective.

I get what you mean. I didn't buy anything from Chill but I bought some nailpolish instead and a couple of tops. Now while I wait for SugarSweet, Rose Romance, and Style Warriors, I am thinking of finally getting some new clothes!

I truly understand the missing out on things.....But sorry since I pay full price on everything ... I can't understand never wanting to pay full price for anything.... And I bust up my budget every collection...so I just buy what I want because the price is not outrageous compared to other brands. beauty has it's price I guess. But I guess we all justify our purchases the best way inn our own minds.

I pay full price for everything too. I wish MAC had some membership rebate/reward system though, besides B2M because at this rate I really don't know what products I will ever use up besides blot powder and the P+P tubes. As my friend pointed out to me, quite a few of the other brands have such a system, like if you spend a certain amount of money, they will probably give you some freebie.

Wow. What were the items that you B2M for?
My stash mainly consists of blushes and lipsticks. I guess those items are not easy to hit pan on, especially the blushes, and I usually don't have time to touch-up my lippie over the course of the day, so they get used up at a slower rate too.

I've already used up a l/l, l/g, l/s, 1/3 of the way through one cremesheen gloss and makeup remover. Cannot wait to do my first B2M.
