I stock pile a metric assload of colours, but I DO wear full makeup like the cool kid I am at least six days a week... And I've used up things before, so I think I'm ok with my silly habits. Way to go you, though, Moxy! But, you knew that.

I use everything up!

I only have the dazzleglasses out of your whole list of items. I do use up my foundations, concealers and lip conditioners frequently, but I'm not using MAC's. I have one almost used up power point eye pencil, as well as one half used up lip pencil from the body shop, but I can't B2M for them. And mascaras, well, even if I don't use it up, it can't be used after 3-4 months of opening so I'll have to get rid of it anyway, that's why I'd rather buy the cheap drugstore ones.

Can the cremestick l/l be used as a B2M item? I always assumed it couldn't since there is not 'B2M' printed on the box.

I do use my makeup. I don't have that much anyway. I only have 12 cheek products (blush + MSF) and 19 lippies at the moment, and I rotate them pretty equally so none is more used up than the others. It's going to be hard to hit pan on anything this way. As for the bunch of lipglosses, I'm slowly but surely incorporating them into my routine. I don't know why you think I'm wasteful, because I really do make it a point to use all the products that I buy, even for the one l/s and one blush that I hate I do force myself to wear them sometimes too.

You shouldnt feed bad. You bought the products with your hard earned money. Besides there is a ton of product in makeup and not enough surface area on the skin to cover, so makeup lasts for years... Hell i bought patina eyeshadow 2 1/2 years ago and i use it every day (once a day) and nylon as a highlight and i just finished patina and made a dip in nylon. I've had my stuido fix fluid for 1 1/2 years and i've only used 1/4 of the bottle. And i've NEVER hit pan on blush EVER and i apply blush 5-6 times through out the day. But i've used up a great deal of lip products

And ive been a mac addict for 7 years

Firstly, I'm a student so there is no "hard earned money" to speak off.
tong.gif
But my stash is really really tiny compared to what most of you have, I just need a few more products and then I'll be completely satisfied with it, I'm still at the stage of building up my collection.
yes.gif
I've only been a MAC addict since the "Red She Said" collection.
greengrin.gif

If you apply blush 5-6 times per day and never hit pan on it, then there isn't hope for me who only applies it once.
girlhaha.gif
And I didn't know SFF would last you such a long time!

Ah it sucks being a college student with no money!! But as soon as you graduate *tehehe* you'll be happy you got your degree. Well i havent used up a blush because i b2m products after 3-4 years because bacteria accumulates and it breaks me out. Also i use 1/2 of a pump of SFF for my whole face, so it lasts a very long time.

Ohh, have fun building your collection!! Its the best part.. I once told myself after i get all the essentials i would stop.. nope.. never happened :p

Well, yes I'll be glad that I got my degree, at least I can better afford the products. But I don't want to go overboard with the spending either, and I hope I don't.

Woah, hopefully in 3-4 years, I would've at least hit pan on something!

For example, I was so exicted for BBR and HK that I bought mad stuff from Chill! Even though cool colors look hideous on me! LOL. Does this happen to anyone else, or am I alone?

I don't do that.

Yep! Any of the mechanical pencils in the plastic casing can be B2M'd.
smiles.gif
I've totally used a cremestick for B2M before.

Honestly, dude, for the stuff you don't like, why not put it up for swap somewhere? I've done that recently with some of my goodies and I'm so much happier with some of my new toys.
yes.gif
Right, your parents. Umm...
hmm.gif
I don't know if you can work around that, but if you could it would rock because it's like getting new makeup practically for free!!! XD

I hit pan in Blanc Type within about six months of owning it.

Maybe I'll figure a way to get round my parents.

How do I go about swapping items? This is all very new to me. I've never bought anything online before, too.

Honestly, I only dislike Plum Foolery and a lipstick called Pinkydee which was my very first product and recommended to me by a MA. Not a fan of the plum-brown lippies "O" and VG 6, but I don't mind wearing them. Other than that, I'm very happy with what I have so far, which is good.

You use it almost everyday, do you? The stuff that I use frequently get used up pretty quickly too, like powder foundation, chapstick, and blot powder, etc. Maybe if I keep using one product, I will hit pan at a faster rate, but with my obsession about rotating my products, that's just not going to happen.

Moxy, you're awesome.....teach me your ways, oh wise one!
th_worship.gif
I need to learn how to chill out and enjoy the makeup I have....and not keep buying more things I don't need. I want one day to be able to experience the exhilarating feeling of hitting the pan on an eyeshadow or finishing a full tube of gloss!

Either in the Clearance Bin on here or over on makeupalley, list them! Someone may contact you if they are interested.

When I have a frosty or sparkly lid shade, I often want a matte highlight. Then comes the Blanc Type. I use it a LOT. It is my good friend.
love.gif
There are some other highlighters I use, but it's definitely my most abused.

Oh, dude, you totally can! Used lipsticks are quite easy to sanitize.
smiles.gif
And yes, poor Blanc Type... at least it knows I love it dearly!!! I also like to pimp it out to others.

I know this has nothing to do with this conversation, but I just wanted to say, Samantha, that I picked up Mega lipgelee at my CCO today and I love it....I think you posted over in the cream team thread that you love that gloss, too....

Ok, I'm going to ask another silly question again. How do I senitize used lipsticks?
blush-anim-cl.gif

Hmm, the thought of swapping away Plum Foolery makes me happy though I need to give it at least one more try before deciding to get rid of it. I still can't believe that it looked so nice on the back of my hand, but nothing shows up on my cheeks at all.
