The first two times when I tried it were a bit messy but then it clicked and it worked like a charm!
What I recommend is not using the metal scraper from Konad - rather a laminated card or something like that. I am not sure if xsparkage mentions this in her video too. Its been a while since I watched it.

Not all regular nailpolishes work for the stamping so I would recommend to get the white and black special polish from Konad to start.
I have heard that all of the China Glaze nailpolishes from the Romantique collection work great too so I tried it with Emotion and it worked.
As a "base" you can use every nailpolish.

I think I will order small kit for now and see how its works, it comes with 2 plates and 3 nail polishes (white, blue and red).

A credit card should work too!
The metal scraper scratches the plates - not the first couple of times but later it did - which doesn't affect the results so far but I prefer to be on the safe side and so I switched to plastic.

The starter kit is a great idea!

As if it's not enough that there are MAC fakes out there there are also Konad fakes.

Till now the fake image plates don't have the Konad lettering engraved in them, though. Xsparkage recommends a store in the video I think.

If you can get it instead of the little one in a set yes but if you buy a set where the little one is already included maybe not. If it's not too expensive and with the 20% off on top I would recommend it, though.

I don't have the double sided stamp yet but I regret not getting it. When I bought my little Konad haul the store I bought from here in Germany just had the one sided one and I didn't wanted to order it from somewhere else and pay shipping twice.
For little motifs the one sided one is too big to work precise, though and sooner or later I need the double sided one too.

I am another Konad nail stamp lover! BadKitty, you will LOVE it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's super easy after you do it a few times. I think I have like 12=15 plates now.

I decided not to get the kit, since I wanted the double sided stamper. So I just got the double sided stamper, 2 plates and 2 nail polishes (black & white).

You just successfully enabled Mercenary! You were the final straw!

I was almost over this nailpolish and I was 100% sure I wouldn't get it!
But then you were on fb and enabled me and I wanted to buy a good nail file for my mum anyhow and then stumbled over Mercenary!

I am not 100% sure if I will get it because it was the last one in the store and then orders can get messed up but still..

Sun Rush L/D, and Sunsational L/S Sunsational is so pretty but my lips aren't overly pigmented so it shows up fairly well with two coats. In sad news, my Soft force arrived broken the whole eyeshadow fell right out of the pan.. balls, very unimpressed. I can't wait to try my lustre drops!!!!!!!! I'm really wanting to try Eversun BPB and A bronzer but I don't know if I will get a chance to head down to the city and swatch them...Arg! Ohh LIberated and Gold Rebel necessary or no??????

It is a really pretty nailpolish, not a necessity but pretty and I needed something more for free shipping anyhow.
