Oh my gosh! I really hope this is true!! I am forcing myself to skip this lovely f/l and to know there is a dupe will make me feel more at ease, lol. Thank you!
EDIT: I have looked it up online and Eggplant seems like it is more of a purple and DD seems like more of an actual plum colour.
okay, cool, i was wondering about that!

I'm for sure getting the pink & red ccb's - they are gorgeous! I pretty much don't care, I will wear them on my cheeks & lips

Is there a l/s from the permanent line that is really close to Something New? After Karlasugars swatches I'm interested again, but I should save my money for Cham Pale and Peacocky, and Mickey (if we get that collection over here).

Looks like I'll be skipping this collection. I love colors, so its really weird for me, but nothing is standing out to me.
But who knows? I might change my mind

Does anyone know when this might be available for sale in Spain? I know it'll be released here in Sweden on Jan 1st, but I'm away on a trip then (in Spain.)

Here is a link to a review/haul of the collection hth.

Thanks for linking this!

Like Ameera mentioned in the video, the pigments looked surprisingly sheer. Suddenly I'm not that excited about them anymore :(
However, Style Curve looked amazing! PinkBasset was right, it just might be Revenge is Sweet in a lipstick form

I love the ccb shades and they look so juicy on the video but not so sure I want to put something that's not eye or lip safe on my lids and I already have hot pink and orange NYX jumbos so I can probably live without those ccbs.

Oh dear... I'm disappointed to know that the pigments run sheer. The whole reason that I wanted FYF was because I thought it would bring a bright pop to my eyes. I guess I can try building it up a little, but I hope it won't look cakey. I'll have to swatch it on my hand to see how light they are.

Interesting comparison with RIS and Style Curve- makes it sound a little more interesting to me. Normally, I go for purple lipsticks without question, but since I have Go For It and Violetta already, this one seems like a repeat. However, if it looks more like RIS, well, that changes everything...

most pigments are rather sheer -- it's when you wet, set or use any primer that they develop into stronger colours. But, I disagree with this video and found the piggies nicely pigmented -- remember these are vivid bright colours and if they were matte or dense, it would be really only for pros to handle. As much as I dislike sheerness in paint pots I do like some sheerness in piggies - that way they can be used plain or as overlays on other products.

the ccbs can and have been used by MUAs on face, lips and even eyes-- I use mine all the time anywhere.

HerGreyness I hope you're feeling better. What are your thoughts on Style Curve being close to Revenge is Sweet? Style Curve may be the first lipstick I've bought in many years (lipgloss gal) and I love RIS so I'm curious to get your opinion.

Thanks darlin, I am on the mend -- which means I get to go to work on Mon again.

The colour is similar imo.. almost a dupe in ls form but SC is a bit, but not noticeably bluer based ... RIS has that jelly like texture tho which I just love now.

I'm going to take the sticky eyeshadow base I normally use with pigments to the counter with me and see how sheer they look over it. Hopefully the pigments are buildable so we'll all like them!

I think I also need to take Violetta with me to swatch next to Style Curve. Based on these few swatches I've seen, Violetta looks a bit darker and Go for it more violet than Style Curve. I'm sure we'll see comparison swatches soon enough! I absolutely adore RIS, so a lipstick form would be a dream come true for me!

Thanks for this! It sounds like a combo of the 2 would look nice.

Rest up this weekend if you have to go back on Monday. Mondays are hard enough.

Dark diversion is black/plum -- Eggplant/Maybelline is a deep purple -- not plum. Also, Fluidlines stay on very well -- Maybelline can be a bit iffy and slide off your eyeballs if you have oilier skin.

thanks Hergreyness! I can't wait to see it IRL. I am also liking what I am reading about Style Curve being similar to RIS. RIS was one of my favorite MAC lipglasses of all time. Can't wait to check that out as well.
