MAC - Superglass Discussion

I'm so mad, my MA was off the other day so I saw the display of these sitting in the back but I couldn't play with them since he wasn't there! Hopefully I can go this week and see what their all about!

I decided to call my pro store last night to see if they had them, and the MUA scoffed and informed me that they've had them for a week already. When I went in, she recognized me as the girl on the phone and apologized for being rude.
Anyway, on to the gloss!
I tried on several colors, multiple times, and I couldn't quite place my finger on what it was that I didn't like about them. They don't feel gritty to me at all. They just feel sticky like the normal dazzleglasses. And yes, the glitter does travel.
The glosses themselves were pretty. I bought Tunnel of Love, and will have to think about Fab Frenzy (I already have a lot of berry/plum glosses). I wanted to love Disco Blend...but something wasn't quite right, so I decided to wait.
It finally hit me this morning: The glitter itself is just UGLY! The flakes are a great concept, but the COLORS are all wrong! They're all orange, green, and silver flakes instead of customizing the appropriate glitter colors for each gloss. They look horrid with the lighter colors, especially the nudes. The darker colors aren't as bad.
This collection would be so much better had they really thought about what color flakes should correspond to which gloss colors. Purple/blue/silver flakes would have been soooo much prettier and complimentary.

argh... yeah the colour of the glitters doesn't sound very appealing at all!

Teggy hit the nail on the head. It would have been so much better if the glitter went with the base colors. It could've looked even prettier.
