Still no color story for this collection?! WTH MAC.

Since this is a summer collection and the last update MAC artists went to was for the spring, I'm guessing we're going to have to wait until their next update to get the color story on this. Not sure when that is, but I would guess April or May based on the info we already have (and the info we don't).

I just found this out myself with Cream Soda; I think I'm so warm toned myself that I need a touch of pink for it to give me a flush of colour.
I just bought Cream Soda but I haven't tried it yet. I'm afraid it's not going to work. :(

Most people seem to love it; hopefully it works for you. :)

This colour just doesn't provide enough contrast for me; it's not so much that it isn't pigmented enough (because I have no problem getting Launch Away or Immortal Flower to show) as it just sort of blends in. I have to put a lot on and then it looks powdery and the colour just isn't great for me. Until now, I really hadn't pinpointed that it's a bit of pink that's missing in Cream Soda for me. I can't wear pink lippies (they look hideous), but I love both Dollymix and NARS Gaiety (lightly applied) because they give me the kind of natural flush I get from being in the cold. Weird.

It looks gorgeous on my neutral to coolish daughter though, and her skin tone is no lighter than mine. She doesn't usually like the corals I love because she thinks they look orange on her; this one is perfect.

The good news: I know not to buy very warm all peach blush. Lippies yes, blush no

The bad news: All those pink blush that I never considered? Yeah. Crap.

Yep, i have it.

I don't do bronzers. I mean, i have a couple for completeness, but i don't use them often. My favorite is Guerlain Terracotta Quatres Saisons - Poudre Bronzante Sur Mesure à l'Or Pur (more or less Terracotta 4 Seasons - Bronzing Powder To Order with Pure Gold - although In the package it translates "sur mesure" as "tailor made"). It's an amazingly fine creamy powder, evenly divided into 4 colors, in a huge heavy luxe compact. You can use them individually (light, medium, dark, deep) or blended. I have # 1, Blonde. Great for bronzing, great for contouring, does NOT pull orange. Yea! It's very expensive. I got it on eBay and paid less than list, but still quite a bit (i'm always nervous getting cosmetics on eBay, but i'm certain this is the real thing). The pan is huge and should last me a lifetime. Even for someone who uses blush regularly, it would last a very long time.

But i did get NARS Miss Liberty. To me it seems to be more of a highlighting powder than a blush. It's actually relatively sheer - for NARS - and quite neutral in color. Because of the glitter, it's not good for contouring, but great for highlighting if you want a touch of warmth, but not bright color. I like it.

and I got an email from NARS, it looks like they have a ton of bright colors that would combo well with the theme of Temperature Rising, I may have to get some of each and then mix & match...

I am esp. liking the green/blue duo and the gold eye pencil...
There's a whole forum here in Specktra for the NARS spring 2013 collection. I recommend a visit for swatches and opinions.

I really hope it's not plain bronze packaging especially on the lipstick tubes. If I'm paying for special packaging I want it to look special! :) I get excited thinking of the possibilities!

With the help of google if looks like Belle Azure was a nice deep bronzey colour that I wouldn't mind. Style warriors had a lighter bronze and whole lot of busy with all those animal prints.

I'm slightly darker than you at NC30/35 (Shellcat's my skin twin for ref)... CS looks pretty on but it took A LOT of product to get it to show up on me. So being a tad lighter, you might really like it... let us know what you think when you try it out! I did use CS again over Out For Fun Casual Color and it looked REALLY nice! Made it pop a little more and last all day! I am not a believer in needing all those steps to make a product work, but I already owned both so it helps to know if I want to wear CS I have another product that can help her out a little! HTH

Here's CS on me without OFF underneath... So this is CS all by its lonesome, about 3-4 layers of it. It's a "barely there" look for sure...

I'm SOOOOOO excited Sun Dipped is coming back! Mine has a HUGE dip! I do have 1 BU, but I will DEFINITELY grab at least 2 more. I think it's so neat to hear how SD works on so many different skintones. I know Mac-Guy is a pale NW right? and I am an NC 30/35... Very versatile bronzer! BRING ON SUN DIPPED!
And since it's in special packaging I'll know which BU to use first for shelf life purposes...

I'm looking forward to trying SD this time around. Does it have any shimmer to it? TIA

I love Sundipped and I am nw20. I am excited by the bronze packaging. I have Eversun beauty powder but I like the looks of the Belle Azure packaging much better.

It seems like it has some sheen in the pan, but that doesn't translate onto my face. It is just the most gorgeous bronzer to warm up your face. As someone else mentioned, I can even use it to contour if I want to. And I'd never use a shimmery bronzer to contour. HTH
