MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

Love UD Rockstar! I got it with the set they released alongside the Vice Palette last year. I never thought I'd like it so much. Mushroom was also an unexpected favourite out of the set. Swelter was pretty much the reason I bought TR. And, to a lesser extent, Performance Art. I have a lot of purples but nothing like Swelter. The look you described sounds amazing! Nope, I too was a Dazzle virgin until Caliente. I want more Dazzles now I haven't seen AB or SS in person, but they both look appealing on swatches. I'm going to check on MAC.nl if they have any left. The makeup junkie part of me wants them to be still available, the rational part wants to see the magic word "uitverkocht". Great idea. I haven't got Magenta but I do have NYX Purple Rain. I'm definitely going to try the combo. Today I paired Caliente with an old Body Shop liner called Mahogany. It worked pretty well.

I haven't had one bad experience with Douglas. De Bijenkorf, on the other hand, had the nerve to send me a half full bottle of nail polish :shock: Wot? No Perversion? Get yer act together woman!

Perversion is on my to buy list, but it always gets shafted cuz there's too many pretty lipsticks and polishes!! hopefully I will pick this up soon! please lord let me get a sephora card for me bday lol

I sent it back and they gave me a refund. The CS person I spoke to was as surprised as I was. And I'm not talking about the polish leaking a bit during transit either. Half of it was gone and what remained was a gloopy mess. The person packing it must either have been asleep or on something

So, today I went to a MAC demonstration event! Very loud, elaborate & colorful. I loved it! There were multiple MUAs doing TR looks on patrons. They also had a troop of muscle tee-shirt, tight shorts-wearing HOT young men w/chiseled bods. Thought I was watching 'MAGIC MAC' not too far from the movie 'Magic Mike'!

My AB and LP arrived today, so there was nothing left for me to purchase at MAC, but----wait for it---wait for it----the makeup bag

It's super cute has an outside pocket and is lined in purple just like the TR packaging. Now I'm really done with Temperature Rising!
