In MAC I am in between a NW10 and an NC 15, and I ordered RFL. I'll have to use a light hand, but I couldn't pass it up. It looked so lovely on everyone I had to grab it. Mine should be here today or tomorrow hopefully, I can swatch it when it gets here.

On what site? On MAC's U.S. site it's been restocked since 5/28. That's when everything restocked and I had a chance to grab RFL blush.

It seems that the Sheer Seduction backorders on Nordstrom ARE going through! I just got my shipping email an entire week earlier than it says on the site, I'm so glad I can stop wondering about whether or not I'm gonna get an email saying my order was canceled.

Finally wore my RFL today although I was pretty light handed with it and my makeup in general. It was just too hot today lol. Didn't even bother to do my hair...just threw it in a ponytail and called it a day lol. Also used BMS and Altered Beige (with a little chocolate lip liner).

Love it!

I bought the Golden elixir strobe lotion today but to me its doing nothing for my face. Would any ladies have any suggestions on how to really make this come alive.

I think most are mixing it with their foundation or lotion. I skipped it (played with it today at the MAC counter just in case I decided I wanted it but I passed)

And with the other two fatties from the collection I bought as well.

I passed on both blushes, but i got Immortal Flower and Royal Sunset from All About Orange, both of which suit me better.

I am loving everything. So far i've gotten the most use out of Altered Beige, both Powerchromes, the TR Quad, and Golden Elixir. Now that the sun is coming out, i think Caliente is gonna be gettin' some loooove.

My favorite way to use Altered Beige lately is to put Hot Chocolate lipstick around my lips with just AB in the center, then blend the edges with my finger. AB is my favorite nude of all the nudes i own. I've considered a BU, but i think i'll just get Pure Zen and avoid drama and costly shipping charges.

As for Golden Elixir, I'm not one for bronzer, so i've been using it as a highlighting blush - although i occasionally catch myself rubbing it on my arms 'cuz i like sparkle (see my sig line).

And i confess i haven't worn Soft Sand, but, after all, i bought it just for the case. Now that the sun is out, i may play with it a bit - perhaps on my eyes.

I'm gonna guess that it's the sparkly bits that you're having a reaction to. Do you have the same reaction to the pearlglide liners?

what skintone are you? i'm around nc 43-44, and i use it all over (except on the tip of my nose!), either under my tinted moisturizer, or on it's own over my moisturizer. on me it just gives a dewy look....

Strobe oh lovely strobe Hi macnewbee!!! Ok Im an nc30 but my friend is a nc40 and I play on her. Lol. She's my makeup mannequin. Anyway I use this on hightlight areas I put dots all over on the C area around my eyes and cheekbone a bit on the bridge of my nose, my cupids arch on my mouth and a dot on my chin. I blend. Blend. Blend. Blend I make this the last step specially if I have been using powders beforehand. I also use it by itself on Sunday's when I dont wear any makeup. Just If im walking out or something and I'm keeping my face clean to let it breathe but I fig a lil highlight never hurt anyone. I've even used this as a very sheer lipgloss... I've used it on the center of my mouth after I put in lipstick (as a highlight) Since its not sticky at all you can pretty much use it anywhere. I've mixed with moisturizer On my arms and hands. Legs maybe you can't really tell? I use the bronze oil to give myself a lil color. Em 94 YJ white.
