MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

i just b2m-ed for shale today, and will probably get beautymarked sometime soon.   what's another dupe for nanogold/temperature rising? 

Shale is one of my all-time favourite shadows from Mac.  It's not a dupe, but Hush is sort of similar to Nanogold.  I have to say that even though I have similar shades To Temperature Rising, I'm still kind of tempted. BMS looks too beautiful to pass up. 

Ugh why'd they have to go and get rid of hush!? Carefree would be a good replacement too. It's not a dupe, but would make a good replacement. Ricepaper even :dunno:

if it's the ccb you are referring to, it looks like it's still online on the canadian site...(i don't have it....yet!)

Hmmm, Feel my pulse looks kind of similar to Outrageously Fun (at first glance) and Caliente reminds me of the lipstick that was posted in the Archie's Girls thread (Sweet Something) that never made it to the collection.

i'm so excited to finally own shale! it's been on my list for years, but end up somehow overlooking it when it comes down to purchasing...i get distracted by all the bright, or more 'exciting' shades. when i had my makeup done during the archie's launch, the artist used shale on me, and i was like - oh yeah!  do you mean hush the ccb? if it's the ccb you are referring to, it looks like it's still online on the canadian site...(i don't have it....yet!) don't have carefree, but i do have ricepaper!

i don't know how i keep missing nanogold. i should really have it. i think it's been out at least three times at least!
i had bought a dupe from inglot, but i ended up giving it away...

I'm taking Temperature Rising off my list for now, but I still want:

Bare My Soul, Feel My Pulse, Rhythm, Ripe For Love, Hot Nights, and maybe... Golden Elixir.

^^^ I've also gained interest in golden elixir. How are strobe creams meant to be used? Mixed wih lotion or what? *noob* :*)

That temperature rising quad looks fab!

You can put the strobe cream/ lotion on first like a primer for a sheen under your foundation or tap it on top of foundation for a subtle highlight. You can also mix the strobe lotion in with your foundation (though not the strobe cream as it can make the foundation separate depending upon what type of foundation it is).

BMS is definitely on my list! I'm not so sure about Feel My Pulse lippie... although it's a beautiful color, I'm not so sure how it'd look on me. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Golden Elixir really caught my eye, though. It looks so pretty!
