MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

Wow!!! Gorgeous looking collection in every way and pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be! Depending on the way they swatch/ wear I'll be interested in one or two of the new fattie pencils, but right now, I'm looking at:

Both quads
Possibly both blushes
Rhythm l/g
Caliente l/s
Feel My Pulse l/s

The packaging looks beautiful and classy.

OMG I take back what I said about bronze packaging, this packaging is gorgeouuuus. :jawdrop: But sadly I only want Ripe For Love blush and maybe Altered Beige lipstick.. I really like how the Bare My Soul quad looks but I can dupe this with Inglot eyeshadows. And it's tempting to buy a pro longwear bronzer but I've used my Soft Sand from Hey Sailor like twice (I don't really use bronzer) so I'm not getting more.

Not very unusual for MAC, there have been a couple of other instances where previously released but aptly named products didn't show up in a collection. Feline Kohl Power wasn't in the Fabulous Felines collection, for instance.

Here's swatches + Lip. I am a NW10 or even lower. Same products as previously, Caliente + Hot Nights. Caliente swatched terribly but was so much more smoother to apply on the lips even though the glitter is quite chunky. It gives a weird almost metallic effect, I am not sure I like it but its growing on me.

I didnt find it to be overly frosty, it sits on a fine line inbetween satin and frost. Little bit more luminous but still doesnt look overly sparkly/glittery.

Hot Nights is gorgeous! It's a lot redder than Prom Princess to me and that makes me very happy Caliente looks very bronze and that makes me wonder how bronze the other Dazzle lipstick is since that's described as an actual bronze and this as a violet.

I'm not sure I'm crazy about Caliente for my skin tone, but I love the glitter lipstick. I hope I like sheer seduction. Hot Nights is gorgeous.

I love the bronze packaging. I think Sun Dipped is the bronzer I need (C1 in F&B). I'll need swatches of the lipsticks before I decide.
