MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

Oh crap! Thank you Honi!!! I usually stay away from Summer makeup because I don't wear any due to how hot I get, but this collection is pretty amazing. I may just have to cave in and buy a few things.

As of now, I am interested in the Temperature Rising quad, Bare My Soul quad, Hot Nights blush, Feel My Pulse & Caliente lippies. This may change depending on swatches and what else will be coming out.

I want to love the lipsticks but the glitter finish is turning me off. I'm thinking they'll feel dry and I hate dry lips. That blush is gorgeous! I've managed not to be a blush fiend over the years but that's started to change over the last several months. Scary!

Hot Nights is just stunning....OMG

Caliente is much too brown for my liking.The glitter is very pretty but it still looks too brown.Too bad

Here's swatches + Lip. I am a NW10 or even lower. Same products as previously, Caliente + Hot Nights. Caliente swatched terribly but was so much more smoother to apply on the lips even though the glitter is quite chunky. It gives a weird almost metallic effect, I am not sure I like it but its growing on me.

I'd love to get another 167, but the colour story says it's SE not SH, and the bristles are black in the picture??
Oh well, I love damn near everything else - time to plan my list!
This will probably come out in the UK in May. TR, Fashion Sets, ED2 and Baking Beauties all in one month?

I love the packaging! I'm interested in both blushes (I'll def get the pink one!), 1-2 lippies, the pencils (will most likely skip them, but I'm looking forward to swatches), both nail polishes, a bronzer (I wanted to skip them, because I have enough left from last year, but I want one for the packaging alone), and the bag. Surprisingly I'm liking the look of that one a lot.
I looked at the pic with the products and thought the collection looked kind of small, now I know why... I can't believe there's no highlight powder!? But hey, saves me money, so I won't complain.

Hm...if the lippies are glittery rather than frosty, I may pass. I already have NARS Dressed to Kill and while I like the colour, I don't love the gritty feeling. Besides, I have Ruffian Gold. It's easy to add a layer to the red lippies I already have. I think I just talked myself out of Caliente - good. I'm trying very hard this year to avoid buying near dupes or colours I can replicate with what I have.

Same here. I just depotted all my blushes that aren't in special packaging and I ran out of palettes to put them in. I also got all the ED blushes with the exception of Bareness which is now in my cart lol.
