MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

I think BMS is going to be the big hit in this collection, as far as quads. I wanted the TR quad but maybe I will pick that one up second, at a later time.

I'm having to down size my list because I have so much going on this week; bills and renewing my Disneyland pass which is a hefty price in itself.

Damn, life! Getting in the way of my makeup obsession!

Current (cut down against my will) list:

Caliente l/s
Soft Serenade l/g

I think renewing your Disneyland pass is worth skipping a few products for...but I fully expect Erin to wag her finger at you for cutting out RFL blush, lol!

I think I might do both quads, RFL blush, and Rich Glance shadow stick. Thinking of trying out Golden Elixir as well, and thinking about Underdressed l/g, except it looks like a darker version of Impossibly Sweet from GD to me, so I might pass on that. I'm just in it for the multidimensional pearl anyway

I think of Jamie Principle's song "Baby wants to ride" There is a part where he says baby wants to ride... for love. I just replace ride for ripe. Yeah, I'm weird.

I am going to ask those of you who have actually seen/felt the BMS quad something i have been wondering about for so many posts already ... what is the big deal about this quad? What makes this so different from the Naked palettes and all of the existing MAC neutrals already out there? I feel like I am missing something, but I am jut not getting it. To be quite honest, I hardly ever find myself reaching for the UD Naked One palette. There is way too much fallout for my liking. That just aggravates the heck out of me when that happens so easily with their shadow.

you're right, which is why I am starting to find myself walking away from their shadows. Sometimes you can be too pigmented. LOL

I don't reach for either the Naked 1 or 2! I don't know why but I just can't get into the finish for some reason. Same with my LORAC Unzipped palette. There's just something about them....

i'm not a fan of ud shadows. i bought the alice in wonderland palette, but practically never wore it so i ended up giving it away. i still have a couple of shades, but generally i don't like how soft the shadows are.

My starving student budget usually only allows me to feed my lipstick hoarding addiction which can get pretty expensive.... Therefore I try to avoid buying shadows independently for now. I have several palettes and just like some of you ladies said UD naked 1&2 hardly get any use... I love them but I feel like they're too glittery for everyday use and fallout is kind of annoying........... I do love my lorac pro palette though

I sold my alice wonderland too. I think I only used that palette once when I had it.
