I found the bronzers far more yellow-toned this year. Especially Soft Sand and Sun Dipped swatched way more yellow in comparison to the Hey, Sailor versions. It's probably not as crucial if you have stronger yellow undertones, but on NW complexions, especially if you are on the paler side, I'd recommend trying them in person to avoid disappointment.

I'm seriously in love with the pencils. Yes, they are on the smaller side, but you need very little product as one pass is enough to give you full coverage. Personally, the pencils are the stand out products from this collection, especially as they are so suited for the summer as they do not budge or crease. Perfect for those humid summers!

I'm skipping. Nothing has really stood out to me but BMS, which I can dupe. Plus, Riri and Tropical Taboo are coming up and I want a couple of things from both collections. totally agree! And not to mention All About Orange collection! Are you getting anything from there?
I don't think so, but my stance always changes lol If I get anything, it would be Sushi Kiss. I would have loved to get the quad, but I know I won't get much use out of it. So I should just skip and wait for whatever else Mac comes out with that I really want!

Thank you for this. I am nw20 and have Sundipped but was considering another...think I will pass and look at other brands when I finish it. Will I really skip this collection??? I need to make decisions soon!

:( I would love to get invited to an event in CHicago...how much MAC do I have to buy to get invited? LOL
Lol, I have no idea. I get invited to all of their events for years now. But I would think its open to everyone, so if you ever hear of one in your area definitely call and rsvp. They serve exotic drinks(alcohol), appetizers and usually have music along with a set up pertaining to the collection theme. I enjoy them!

Maybe it's only for makeup artists?
I'd definitely inquire with your local free standing MAC store. Everyone is usually able to rsvp. I usually get a call, an email, or a postcard in the mail inviting me. But Iv'e told people and they have called, rsvp'ed and attended as well.

thanks sweetie, you just justified my skip on those bronzers (may haul them later at the CCO, who can resist special packaging at a discount?) but I kept my haul to $100. I have to save for TT--being the mineralize h00r I am. :) Getting remorse for skipping the pencils but I have too much creamy eye products as is--got use up some first.

All you have to do is ask! I knew Temp Rising was coming out so I went to my local store and asked to come to the preview night. Once you're on their list, they'll keep inviting you (as long as you show up and spend $$$)

You can still get the pencils, right? :)

I tried to make my haul as small as possible so I only got Altered Beige, Feel my Pulse and Ripe for Love. I'll probably go back for one of the quads and pencils when it releases in stores.

You are welcome. Definitely skip Soft Sand. It turns out more yellow than Nude on Board - kind of a Simpsons family yellow on me. It was definitely a pass. There is no point in buying it just for the sake of special packaging. Having said that, I don't think this collection disappoints. It's just not a good match for pale NW complexions as there is a general yellow theme in this collection.

PS: If you still look for a bronzer, the most natural one for NW10 - 20, though not it special packaging, is MAC's regular matte bronzer. Alternatively, watch out for Lush Light Bronze in CCO's. They are still around...
