In Essence magazine they suggested Soft Sand for WOC but I also picked up refined golden. I hope it isn't ashy

Hmm, that's interesting.. I know sun dipped was ashy on me from last year. I'm giving it to my mother.

I saw and swatched the collection at a MAC stand yesterday.
I wasn't taken by the quality of the quads.

The brush's quality didn't impress me,either. But then I'm a Hakuhodo and Koyudo fan.
And Gilda trumps RFL IMO.

What I DID like was the Strobe liquid (thanks for the recommendation, erine1881)- very pretty colour. Nice effect!
And the fatties?
Someone here mentioned they'd be great for humid summer conditions because they DON'T move.
I agree with that and will probably end up buying one or two.

Very good advice. Caving is terrible, both with make-up hauls and choccies!

I took a pool dip with them and they were still in place. It's an absolutely stunning product.

What do you all think the winner of this collection will be? Me personally I think altered beige will be a good lipstick. I'm hoping it will be like the marquise d of lusters lol

Is the strobe liquid in this collection going to be permanent? Or did it say LED? Would be nice if they kept it permanent... I need to try that strobe cream in the permanent range also.

Wearing Blazing Haute today...love!...Based on liba's review, not sure if I should skip RFL because I have BH and they're similar, or get RFL because BH works so well and it would allow me to play up the same tones in different finish... Erine, I don't know how you stuck to two items! And people who are skipping...How?

Which two are you contemplating? I think Rich Glance for sure, then I am torn between the black or the dark brown. Maybe the bronzey brown because I have the glittery black fluidline from Glamour Daze and this would be different from that. That would be haul #2 but I am already thinking skipping the BMS quad is a mistake. I am also torn by the polish but I cannot get over the price point for the dodgy quality. Do we have NP dupes???

Played around with Copper Strip and Life's Luxury Powerchrome pencils this morning and wow, they do NOT budge. Problem is, I can't seem to blend them well enough. Any hints? (I have a plethora of Mac brushes, I just need to know what one to use!)

They should repromote it with all future summer collections so we can get our sexy Golden Elixir bronze on every year and the perm strobe cream is amazing! I've been using it for a while and can't get tired of it! It's perfect for summer also, makes your skin feel so hydrated and refreshed!
