I missed out on FMP...I'm so upset! I just dozed off for a minute and its gone smh. Guess ill have to chance it by physically going to the store :-/ ETA: I did pick up Hot Nights as well as Golden Elixir, plus I used the code for free second day shipping...thanks!

AAO is gonna be a killer for me with the lip products lol. I'm a total sucker for corals. I tamed myself with this collection and only got Altered Beige x 2 and Caliente (the latter was total impulse). I also got both quads and both blushes. Sigh. I haven't had a big MAC haul since Archie's!

I have to be careful about matching foundation to my face because I have some excess pigmentation from sun damage. If I match my face, I will look like I have a mask on because my neck and chest (that are about NC20) are so much lighter. It's taken a lot of trial and error to find the solution. I match the skin towards the back of my jaw (as suggested by Lisa Eldriidge in her foundation series) and now things blend in much more naturally. If you just took the foundations I now use (Clinique Redness Solutions in Calming Ivory plus just a bit of tinted moisturizer in medium) and put it on my darkest area then it would look too light. When it's blended into my entire face it's perfect.

I've decided to visit a highly recommended dermatologist in Toronto to see what she can do to reduce pigmentation and take away the remaining age spots I have on my face. I've used serums and retinoids but I think I've improved things as much as I can without professional help. My boss had a couple of peels and had her age spots removed with a laser. It was fairly non-invasive and her skin looks fabulous. The difference is subtle, but she has the even-toned skin of a much younger woman.

I think someone mentioned a dupe for the fuschia polish...a drugstore brand I had not heard of before....

Yes, the brand is called Moyra, and the color number is 100.
I went to the preview night with this polish on my nails, and even the MAC workers thought I was wearing Scorching Haute.
(Although I think they are a tiny bit different, the Moyra polish is a bit more magenta while the MAC polish is a bit more violet,
but for the price I settled with the cheaper one, and it looks just as good.

I am so glad my dog woke me up! I ordered: Both quads (I have hazel eyes...they were calling me!) Altered Beige Sun Dipped Life's Luxury ...and the strobe liquid!
