I know what you mean! I had to scrub mine off with a makeup wipe. like literally 5 passes lol

I just returned my BUs of these pencils. I have 35 year old skin that does not like the hard work needed to blend these pencils. My right eyelid is actually a bit tender this morning from the blending on Copper Strip. (maybe I was a bit overzealous with the blending but it looked so janky before)

I bought the Strobe liquid last week...it's OK. I'm very oily so I was already leary, but I couldn't pass up trying a darker shade of the Strobe liquid.

The first time I wore it mixed with Face and Body foundation and I hated it. I wore it again yesterday mixed in with my moisturizer (no foundation) and liked it better. Today I mixed it with my primer and it seems to be holding up. I prefer my powder MSFs over the Strobe liquid definitely.

oh thnks for sharing, I use f&b foundation and was planning to do the same..so maybe not anymore.. im thinking of mixing in a few pumps to a bottle of body moisturizer and use it for an all over hint of glow...

I would be livid, too. Had this happen with Fashion Sets, when Heroine had been removed from my bag, when it was there when I checked a week prior. I'm a little less trusting now, especially since my SA was transferred to a counter where they have a no-hold policy.

Now I try to get everything I know I must have online, but don't release anything from my hold until I check it out in person.

kinda ticked right now ..called my local mac to see if they could put caliente on hold..she said no. Is this a recent change coz I was always able to put things on hold for same day pick up..and this isn't even the day of the release.. kinda bummed..she told me to get there soon if im interested but have a few left.. now the question is..should I stick the baby in carrier and take the bus asap..or wait for the car 5 hrs later...or just pass and stick to no 2nd haul rule on this collex..... decisions decisionsss....

It depends on how bad you want it. If it's not a hassle to take the bus with a baby and carrier, then do it, otherwise wait for the car or pass. I do have a Caliente on hold at my freestanding store (had to secure it with an appt.), so if you miss out, I can do a CP.

I'm surprised they won't at least do a same-day hold. I have a good relationship with my Pro store, so they always set aside my requested items as soon as the shipment comes in. My freestanding store no longer does pre-sales or holds - the exception is they will do a same-day hold or if I want to reserve in advance, I have to secure it with an 'event' appointment. My Macy's counter, where my favorite SA transferred to, doesn't do any holds at all, though now that she's there, she might be able to - at least she was able to set aside the MM lippies for me last week, but that might have also been an exception since I pre-paid to attend Gregory Arlt's workshop.

In the picture i'm wearing bms quad (the light taupe shadow on the lids and the green shadow smudged over minted eyeliner on the lower lash line). I'm also wearing rfl blush with the strobe liquid patted to highlight my cheekbones and down the nose. Lips are oak liner, altered beige ls, and Lp lipglass. I apologize for my yellow lighting!

aw that's sweet, thanks for the offer.. im not sure how a cp works tho ? yes im pretty surprised as well for same day hold coz im usually the one to call as soon as the store opens and put a bunch of le stuff on hold and they even suggest to put the other "hot selling" items on hold for me.. guess the staff has changed since i took a 1yr makeup break (gasp! i kno..new baby = new priorities lol).. but then the change of staff happens quiet often at my mac store..so can never have a fav SA.. oh and they don't do cc or otherwise appt reserves either..must be a Canadian thing ..

Hey everyone, just getting back from Nordies. Will post my haul later this evening (once you all promise not to judge me, lol). Anywayz the store I went to in Adventura Mall, Miami did not get all the items and plan to get the rest of the collection in a week's time. I did not get my BMS quad as they only recived TR. I was also informed that they only got HN blush and I saw no sign of LP lipgloss. I was kind of disappointed as I had called in my triple points day to use today. The SA told me that they will call me when they get BMS for me to keep my receipt so they will adjust it with their CS dept and any other purchases I make that day can't go towards triple points. Since I had the opportunity, I took advantage of the Chanel Mascara special, B2G1 free (looking at you Ice,lol) I had held 2 Underdressed and they only had one left afterwards that was looking all sad and lonely. Being the kindhearted and sympathetic person that I am I couldn't leave it and took its siblings so I end up taking it as well

A CP ('custom purchase') is a purchase on your behalf for which you pay/reimburse the purchaser the product retail cost, any applicable sales tax, and shipping.

I eventually called in a pre order. I just realized today that u are able to mix and match various brands. I got all the same tho, Le Volume by Chanel cause my lashes need all the help that they can get

I finally got my package from Nordstrom today. With the exception of FMP I had planned on passing on most of this collection but I ended up getting both blushes & Caliente. The blushes are super pigmented on me. I'm around a NC42-44 & they showed up so heavy on my skin. I didn't even use a heavy hand.

I could've passed on Caliente. It's a nice color but the texture is annoying. I could've passed on FMP too. It's similar to other lipsticks that MAC has come out in the past few months.
