I think that there's just so many different techniques and products that effect how things work. My WIR swatches were on bare skin, no primer, and it showed GREEN! But on others, with primer, and there's no greenIt's just all about finding what works to get the best result.
I love both quads, but I've worn TR more. So glad your goods were turned in and are on the way!!I guess I have to play around too b/c I haven't even opened my BMS. My TR haul was sent to the wrong address, luckily the person who accepted it turned it in. Now I have to wait...it should be here any day now.
Okay, I am blanking here, what's an MM? I could never get a shadow over a paint before it dried, those suckers dry way too fast for that. I would have to have the brush "loaded" before hand even to get it over a paint pot. Maybe over the NARS primer...
HN is AMAZING.i have Prom Princess and Supernova and still think it's worth it if you can get it.it's a beautiful rasberry red while the other ones are definitely more of a magenta pink color.i'm in love with it
How about Bare My Soul es from that quad? I can get all of the colors to show up nicely using UDPP or a PP except for BMS. It looks absolutely nothing like in the pan. I have tried packing it on to get decent color, and all I get is a glittery mess.
This look is very pretty on you and you look radiant!Okay, so I finally got around to trying Caliente----Love the glitter! I topped it with Rhythm lipglass to add glitter insult to glitter injury---super fun. I used my Magenta lip pencil. I also used the TR quad which I've used previously and I love that too. I also used Hot Nights blush and forgot what a big punch it packs---had to tone it down a bit.

That little tricky shade does the same on me. I use Nars Primer & Painterly. I'm going to go and try it out again today and see what I can do.I can't get when in rio to work on me; looks brown instead of that beautiful green

i've used it over Copper Strip and it look green and beautiful! so maybe try it over a dark base

Are you using a base that stays creamy? That seems to be the best way to get colours to show up like they do in the pan-a base that stays creamy.

I've backed up Caliente, FMP, the blushes and Underdressed. I was going for BU #3 of Underdressed this weekend (the store's last one), but gave it up to a friend who is a MAC addict in the making. I helped choose shadows for a quad, and she got Caliente; then she saw my lipglass and immediately realized it was a perfect pairing for the lipstick. I couldn't say no.
Did a couple of quick looks using BMS quad. I don't have any trouble making When In Rio show...but I pat it on.
