MAC The Matte Lip Collection (Oct 9, 2014)

It seems our favorite TM on IG has found info about the matte lip collection. Has it been mentioned any where other than here?
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but our favorite TM has definitely been trolling around and has posted other info from other new threads as well. It's likely that she got the info (or at least some of it) from here. I actually don't think it is one person but several, which makes it all the more difficult to stop!
I think you're right about it being several people. This post wasn't by TM but I noticed this chick credited TM for the info.

I've mentioned it before, but my mom would always ask me why i would remove my bold lipsticks before eating burgers. Then she finally saw why. She laughed so hard!!! And it's even worse when it's a matte or RM, cuz if it hard to get off the lips, it's even harder to get off the chin!
This happened to me last night! I was out watching the soccer game and the burgers were just too tempting. Luckily my mom was there to point out I had a a little Russian Red goatee going on

I know, it's weird. I'm guessing it's a quid-pro-quo situation. They share the info they each find so they can all look like they have inside info.
yeah i agree it has to be a group of evil minions. im sure non of them have any first hand info on any mac at all.

I can't see backing up a butt load of stuff. Hot pink? Fuchsia? There will always be more. Red? Always new reds. But I did back up Go For It from the "In the Groove" collection, because it's a BLUE violet, and MAC hasn't made another like it. The closest was Pro Longwear Goes and Goes, although i don't like it quite as much - i have one - and the finish is different, less creamy, less depth. from Temptalia Left - Go For It | Right - Goes and Goes I confess i have hundreds of lipsticks and i don't wear lipstick every day, but it and eyeliner are the things i'm most likely to throw on. I am close to done with my first Go For It and every time MAC says it's making a "violet" or a "blue purple" lipstick i get my hopes up, only to have them dashed because it's just another fuchsia or slightly blue hot pink. I'm not a fan of matte or nearly matte lipsticks, and i'm not crazy about the ones that clearly have a lot of white in the base, so i buy some of the smaller brands, but i don't wear them as much as Go For It. I also BU'd Caliente which is a Dazzle, so an unusual finish (see my sig), and Firm Form, which is a metallic grey that can be sheer or strong, so it's unlike several other greys that have come out - that are either matte, or flat, or sheer only. Other than that, well, i'm not a one lipstick girl :kissy:
I have GFI so I should try to hunt down that dupe even though I'm not a fan of the prolongwear tube. I have given up on MAC making a blue or blue-based purple lipstick. They keep teasing us with description of purple or violet. So I broke down and purchased Butch lip tar to layer. If I really want blue I'm going to have to Frankenstein a combination with blue pigment or break down and purchase blue lip mix. #First worldproblems

Just wanted to check with all of you -- do you remove your lipstick at the table when you eat out? And if so with what?

Thanks, I'm kind of a stickler for proper manners.

I  mattes and retro mattes! I wore Dangerous today for 8hrs today with problems at all. I would've worn it even longer, but i have to remove my lips when i eat hamburgers, otherwise i end up with a line of lipstick on my chin from my bottom lip
Those are my fav finishes! I hate it when that happens..it is a lipstick goatee lol
 this happens to me all the time, my boyfriend always laughs at me and then say "you have lipstick on your chin". Happy to see it has a name "lipstick goatee"

I always blot away my lipstick with my napkin, I just don't want to risk it migrating around my lips, especially the bolder colors. I can't even imagine how horrible Head in the Clouds would have looked last night all over my face.

After my vacation in July, I'll start saving up for these lipsticks every week!

Here's to hoping it doesn't slip my mind like the Osbourne collection due to school work.

Men are always quick to comment when lipstick has messed up but hardly ever when it is on point lol
Lol ah yes the lipstick goatee can make your chin look all kinds of fabulous

Hahaha, lipstick goatee! I know it too well. I'm also really talented at the lipstick mustache from my drinking glass. :/

I just use a napkin at the table. And if they only have cloth napkins, I'll use a tissue from my purse.

I always carry tissues in my bag and wipe it off with that. I can't even drink with lipstick on it drives me nuts to see the lipstick on the straw or cup.
