Thank you! I can do purple-y, so that is definitely a good starting point! I agree about not too much black or brown, not a good look for me. I will have to make plans to see this collection in person! Thanks Erin! This is going to be the fall that I finally find my perfect vampy lip!

Just to reiterate what others have said, I'm about the same complexion as you and I love a vampy lip. Browns tend to drain colour from my complexion, so I favour shades with a fair amount of red in them. It's always going to be a somewhat dramatic look for a pale girl, but it's very elegant. I like to use a slightly warm highlight powder with these kind of looks- it brightens the face but prevents you from looking sick.

Thanks for the advice about the warm highlight powder, I'll try that. That helps me with a lot of looks so I bet it will with this too. It's not the drama that I mind, I like drama! I just don't like to appear ill and old LOL

You definitely want to keep the eyes very simple, and blush subtle. And as [@]liba[/@] said, it's about finding the right base colour that flatters you the most. And if that means trying them in before buying, then you've gotta do that. But the most important thing to pulling these off is CONFIDENCE!!!

Dramatic Black cat eye, strong brow, do a bomb ass highlight, a little contour and blush that complements the dark shade of lipstick, and put that vampy lip
