And your full-face looks GORGEOUS! It's thee perfect eye look to go with LL! I'm always a little worried about doing color on my eyes if I have a vampy lip. But you pulled it off perfectly! I'm taking notes lady!!

Just went to nordies and tried on the lippies! they apply like a dream!
Left is LVER and NV
Right is SiS, LL, PM, DG, and FR

I tried LL on my lips to see how it looked and it applied INCREDIBLY patchy, just a warning!!

Wait, is the Matte Collection already out at Nordstrom's? I hate to hear that about LL. Was it too creamy so it slid around? I don't know why MAC is having trouble with their dark mattes here of late starting with the Punk Couture collection. SMH

Yes, i couldn't even get it to apply in some areas it was the weirdest thing, could of been the tester but it seemed brand new to me.

Also my the woman at the counter mentioned that she thought that all of these would become perm at some point, that may not be true just repeating her comment

I hate that about some matte lippies. I hope I can make it work with lip primer and/or a lip liner bec the colour looks amazing...
I hope it was the tester, but I don't think so. Some of MAC's dark matte lippies are just not easy to apply properly which is a pity.

yes the SA mentioned she thought it would work better with a lip liner too me and that sometimes thats just how they applied, personally i don't like having to use a lip liner and like to just have a lippie i can put right on

Okay we'll see... I hope this collection will be available here next week (one of the guys who work at MAC told me that it will be), then I'll try it on. I personally don't like doing that either. Sometimes it's just necessary bec otherwise the lipstick would just not stay on my lips or it wouldn't look very appealing. I tend to search for colours that won't change the lipstick's colour too much. I think Nightmoth would be fine with LL.

i think that night moth will look perfect with it! its a gorgeous color, just needs to be worked with!
