When the collection launched online I got Styled in Sepia & Pander Me, and yesterday I went to my local MAC Store to check out the colours I wasn’t sure of yet, them being a bit out of my comfort zone: Nouvelle Vogue & La Vie en Rouge. I loved them both  Hand swatches, L-R:  Styled in Sepia - Pander Me - Nouvelle Vogue - La Vie en Rouge Sunshine: Flash:   Ok, and this is scary, first time posting pics of my face (I’m still a bit shy, sorry). I’m a bit of a noob, so my application isn’t always as pretty as I see it on the other ladies posting here. We all start somewhere, I greatly enjoy this community and want to share and contribute  Pander Me   Styled in Sepia Nouvelle Vogue La Vie en Rouge Love my new lippies! Fashion Revival, Living Legend, and Damn Glamorous, Finally had a chance to try on some of the new lipsticks I bought! I'm still not sure how I feel about LL, I had a bit of trouble with application, I'm guessing a liner would help immensely? I also don't know my skin color reference but I'll try on the rest later, giving my lips a break now. But I'd still say pander me is my absolute favorite! I might have to buy two more. . .:eyelove:

I went to my MAC counter after I got off work yesterday with the intention to swatch/buy PM and FR. Well I swatched FR and fell in love right away but when I went to swatch PM I realized there wasn't a tester for it in the display. I was pretty miffed because the whole I reason I have resisted buying it online this whole week is because I wanted to swatch it at the counter. I decided I would just buy it without swatching and pair it with a liner if I needed to make it "work" for me. So I'm approaching the checkout and one of the girls asks me if I need help trying on anything. I tell her that I need PM and FR lippies. She gives me a pitying look and says "Oh I am so sorry but we sold out of PM earlier today. We only received 6 of them."  My jaw drops for a half a second and I'm thinking to myself "what f*ckery is this!?!" :shock:  and then I spring into action! I tell her "Okay I understand. Bag that FR up please I have to get online right now." She looks at me like I'm totally craycray but just bags up my FR without a word. I whip out my iphone and pull up the Matte Lip Collection (because I have it saved in my browser like the psycho lippie hoarder/MAC collection stalker I am) and one-two-three I've ordered PM and used MACEXP. I feel my BP dropping as I swipe my debit card for my FR lippie. I thank the lady who rung me up and walk off toward Sephora refreshing my email until I see my confirmation email that MAC has gotten my order. The ETA for my PM lippie is this coming Wednesday and I'm cool with that because it gives me a few days to show LL and FR some love. So lesson learned, I'm not relying on my counter anymore for LE releases. It's 30min away from me and I just never know how much stock they'll get in. Online is the way to go. *** Anywho I just spent the last 20 min or so catching up on the thread and I'm loving everyone's swatches and comparisons. I really do adore this awesome community of makeup lovers. It's so supportive and fun and just so ... girl talk... lol. It's great to see everyone feeling beautiful and confident in their new lippies, posting swatches and giving feed back. You guys rock! *cue the dancing nanas*:nanas:

am I the only WOC who doesn't like colors like Fashion Revival on them? I just didn't care for it. I can't quite figure out why. Unless it's just that it's something I don't like now, and will like later.
I also felt like many of these were similiar to colors I already own. So that was a disappointment.

But I loved the blush.

I got PM - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!! Its such a beautiful unique shade. I would call it a slight rose nude slight pumpkin cinnamon

(I spent a lot of time looking at the Pumpkin Spice latte at Panera)

Its SO freakin beautiful with Make You Mine blush

They are perfection together. Its kinda like a slightly darker version of PM lipstick with a tad more of a blushbaby kinda rose base shade to it.
I went thinking I was going to get the coral blush (which is so so pretty too) but my gorgeous MAC SA friend said she thought MYM would be beautiful on me & swatched it on my skin & we both oohed & ahhed. I also got my SIS which really does look edgy cool on me & Bespoken For liner.

NV is beautiful! And don't be shy, everyone here is a sweetheart, and very very appreciative of swatches! I even post pictures like first thing when I wake up with no makeup and bags under my eyes, no one is ever like "Whoa dude, nice makeup lol", we just wna get more views of the colors

You're right, I've noticed everyone on here is very positive. Lol! I'll come out of my shell soon

You could like it, I actually prefer Nouvelle Vogue myself...Chatterbox is brighter compared to NV plus CB is Amplified!

Everyone's swatches look so pretty! Kinda wish I had gotten PM as well (specially now that I start watching the good wife and Julianna Margulies always have a lipstick that in my mind looks a lot like PM

) , but the rational-me knows that I've been distancing myself from nude lipsticks, my velvet teddy has been neglected for a while.
