I really thought I'd like SiS but it just isn't doing it for me pulls too grey-ish and makes me look dead

New UK Specktra/Mac obsessive here saying Hi all.
There is loads of speculation in the Mac stores in London about whether the Matte Lip lipsticks are permenant or not. None of the SA's can give me a straight answer. Do any of you have a definitive answer?
The products are completely sold out and I'm sort of kicking myself about the ones I didn't grab.

Thanks for reminding of SS! I think I have to wear it soon, I've been thinking about it. And actually go through all my lippies to find the neglected ones. I've rarely worn my purples this fallOh crap it feels weird to quote myself.
Anyway, I wore Living Legend today. Prep & Prime underneath, and lined with Nightmoth. I'm happy to report that I had no issues in application or wear
Nice to hear. I haven't worn LL yet (today's a Studded Kiss day), and I will surely try it with P&P if it does not work otherwise. Speaking of these lippies, I tried to take the swatch pic I was talking about elsewhere yesterday:

You can't really see the difference between DE and LL because DE is so glossy, but it's not big. LL is just a bit redder I'd say.
Wore PM today with Stone lip liner and it is LOOOOOOVE!!! I didn't think I would like it very much as I'm typically a vampy lip fan (Diva and Hang Up are my "everyday" lippies lol) but wow!!! I'm in love!!! It's like the perfect Kylie lip for me and I'm tempted to BU PM to eternity!!!

my HG nude!! I dislike the Amplified formula but for some reason SS just looks perfect as an Amplified...the creaminess of the Amp formula with the caramel color of SS makes theee sexiest nude lip IMO. It gives me life. And I saw where you said today is a Studded Kiss day for you...we must have similar tastes in lip colors cause I wore SK the other day and forgot how much I loved it so I put it back in rotation for Fall...gotta restrain myself from using it so much cause I didn't BU

My creeping hit from this collection is definitely nouvelle vogue! I wasn't even going to buy it and now I have 4, haha. Such a gorgeous cool toned saturated rose with incredible lasting power and the stain is the exact same color as the lippie so even hours later I can just slap on some balm and it looks brand new again. Pure LOVE.

Me too! Nouvelle Vogue is absolutely stunning. It really comes off as a boring rose pink and some people may believe it's too similar to Pink Nouveau, Please Me, Mehr, and the other pinks but it's totally different on me. When I hand swatch, Mehr seems to be the closest dupe but on the lips, they are completely different colors. I love Nouvelle Vogue and pairing it with just a winged eyeliner is perfect. It's really a no-fuss color.
