MAC Too Fabulous Discussion

Alright so I may need to pass on the pencils, at least for now. When I saw the swatches for GMLOL, my list grew, and I'd rather have things from that collection instead. I have never used a lipliner before, so if I haven't felt the need for them before, I should pass now. But Naked is calling me. Maybe I should just get that one, and skip In Synch? I have to cut my wants somewhere (not to mention facing unexpected car repairs)... Ugh, how I wish money grew on trees

Resistance is futile. I will buy Double Dare and maybe one or two liners. Double Dare is just a shade that I would normally jump on so I will. I don't see the big deal with Boy Bait. I remember some women of color raving about it here last year, but it just looks like milky goo, to me.

Also, anyone who doesn't like working with Mac liners, do yourself a favor and check out MUFE aqua lip liners. They are super creamy and pigmented. I am not a liner person, but I own several. Not to sway you from Mac and I don't work for MUFE, but I do love this product and I just want to give you options.

. I just wanted to throw in that I don't work for MUFE b/c anyone who pays attention to my posts may notice that I rave about their products. I'm just super passionate about products that work for me. When I first started wearing makeup, I spent hundreds of dollars, tried every brand in sephora trying to find the right products that were of good quality and didn't irritate my super sensitive skin. I just know some people who aren't willing, for whatever reasons, to look beyond Mac for certain products.

Now, I'm wanting Double Dare too! lol I'm limiting myself to only two glosses from here since the sheer ones end up looking the same on my pigmented lips.

I had the opportunity to play with this collection today and imo it is skippable if you're on a budget. Blushes are nothing special imo (especially compared to blush ombres), Cremesheen glasses are perm, so the only real standouts are the lip pencils. I opted for In Synch and Naked Liner. They are soft, almost creamy, easy to apply, well-pigmented and especially very unique in colour (at least as far as MAC's regular line is concerned). Naked liner is something like Creme D'nude in pencil form. Absolutely stunning! I've lined and filled in my lips with Naked Liner then topped it with Boy Bait and it was pure love. I was afraid that In Synch would be too bright or too cool, but luckily it's a beautiful warm pink.

Preorder the liners if you can bc they are definately the stand outs in this collection. Especially Naked and In Synch....those will go first...I'm debating on getting 2 of each color and I don't even wear lipliners all that much.

Updated my Two Virtues review with Swatches. I love the violet part but it didn't show up in pics as well as in person.

That's funny, I feel the complete opposite. The blushe ombres were a complete disappointment for me. Very chalky and not pigmented enough for me. But to each, his own.

As much as the MB look really pretty I am going to skip them. I hardly ever reach for my other mineralize blushes and use either dainty MB, Blushbaby, or the new ombres on a daily basis.

However I am going to get naked, in sync, and trimmed in pink liners. I can't wait for those!

I'm definitely getting Naked liner but as much as I want In Synch, I already have Dervish which I use as my light pink liner

I wonder if I should get 2 Nakeds since they seem to be so popular...? I think I'll wait a bit before I decide.

Dervish is a pink-mauve that is my favorite lip liner so far. In Synch is more yellow-pink. Can't wait to try it.

I'm getting careful with buying backups. By the time I need to restock, MAC has probably launched it with another collection.

I'm loving Dervish lipliner. I bought it a few weeks ago and have no regrets at all.

I def agree, I'm considering the three l/l you mentioned as well. I know I want naked for sure and the other two will prob be mine as well. I'm gonna skip the creamsheen glasses for now as they're perm.
