MAC Too Supreme discussion

Zen Rose is a lipstick, not gloss. I don't think it's very unique actually. I bought Imperial Red, but also like the Mango one, might pick it up once I've tried out the formula (only just bought it this morning).

Did we decide if any of the colors are unique? I think I will have to get one just to see if I like the applicator thingie. Zen Rose looks quite pretty and the name is catchy.

From what I have seen none of the colors are really unique, zen rose is indeed a catchy name. I want one too to try as well I'm just not a fan of the price

I bought imperial red, ever since temptalia did a swatch of it, I just had to get it. It's the perfect bright but everyday pink gloss! :D so happy this is in my collection!

Just a word of wisdom: You really only need to turn the click pen once or twice to get enough product. I might take a second or two, but if you click more often, you will end up with a big blop - too much for the lips unless you go for an ultra p0rn star look.

However, when you use it for the first time, several clicks are necessary, though I still recommend to go easy.

I totally agree Mac-Guy.
I wasted loads of product at the begininning :( It did seem like it took for ages to get the product out for the first time

I would say that 5 - 7 clicks are enough to activate it. Just click and then wait for a few minutes. Once the pen is activated, it will flow out within one or two clicks (probably more like one click if you keep the brush clean with brush cleanser or an alcohol-based cleanser). I think it is a fantastic and very hygienic product once you figured out how the click works.

I was swatching these yesterday in store and I certainly had no trouble getting product out and I definitely agree about the hygienic aspect. I also find that it applies at least as precisely as a doe's foot. I wasn't sure about the colours, although I'm thinking about Dress Kimono and Black Tea, but the packaging is a real win in my book.

I bought Zen Rose... I love it! My lips are super dry and icky though so it looks terrible on me right now.

I was really surprised by this collection! I didn't think I'd like anything, but after swatching them, they're super glossy, and they're not as sheer as I first thought either. I like them!

My goodness.. you're so right! I clicked a bunch of times, and it just slowly kept on oozing out even after I'd used it.

2day I picked up Asian Butterfly & Black tea... LOVE them both! Black tea surprised me... nicely pigmented! Asian Butterfly is nice also... more sheer but still fun! I also grabbed Asian flower l/s... reminds me of budding love l/s!

I think the glosses are worth buying in 1 or 2 colors of your choice!

StyleBlack are you going to put any swatches on your blog? We're close in skin tone, so I love seeing what items look like on you. I just checked your blog and didn't see any. I was thinking they were super sheer as well, so now you've peaked my interest.

I've tried Imperial Red today and it's really nice! I like the formula a lot and the colour is really pretty. It stained my lips a bit as it wore away. It did last for about 2.5 hours though which is good for a gloss. it!

I tried the glosses in store today. They are nice but similar in texture to creamsheen and the colours weren't very unique so I decided to hold off and wait for the creamsheens in reel sexy

I should have ordered yesterday Zen Rose and maybe another click pen in addition to Mango Sheen too, but my head was already spinning with this collection flood - what, when and where. I thought that my Mac will get this collection but it's not coming. However, ZR looks quite close to two other lippies I have and SS is not my fav formula, so I guess I can live without it - for awhile anyways.

Thank you for swatching this! I do own Lollipop so that saves me from my urge to buy Zen Rose! Now, if only I can get Supersweet MES out of my head, lol.

Tell me about it! The golden sheen in the pink side is absolutely mesmerizing. It would also look gorgeous as a blush! But the taupe brown side looks very similar to Twilight Falls, but a bit lighter.
